Fabtech FTS200 Soft Ride Add-A-Leaf Kit

Ok here’s the scoop. If I can help anyone in anyway that may be a bit apprehensive about the installation & the lift results of these Fabtech helper leafs as I was, I can tell you first hand, they were a fairly easy install and the results were perfect. I gained a solid 2” of lift which brought the rear up perfectly. The handling is absolutely incredible. Takes those railroad track bumps like a champ. If your second guessing buying these springs, trust me when I say, go fo it! I am so glad I decided to go with these Fabtech helper leafs. This is exactly what I wanted, an add a leaf for my tacoma to raise the back about an inch. I knew I wanted a longer add a leaf for better ride quality than a short add leaf. These leaves were a good length. And good price. The ride quality is mildly stiffer, and can definitely be considered a soft ride. The only negatives I have to say is I was missing a nut in the packaging. I just went to Home Depot and spent $0.50 to get another one. Not anything that upset me too bad. Also, I wished there were general instructions stating which way to put the leaves in. The hole in these for the guide pins are not directly in the middle, they're 2 inches to one side. I tried searching online but was running out of daylight so I installed them with the longer side to the rear. Seems like it fits well, and I suppose they could've been installed the opposite way as well. Overall, I'm very pleased

Worked great. Truck rides at a perfect height now, towing a trailer brings it down to just level. Would have been nice if they beveled the edges or included spring clamps (the Zone Offroad kit for my Chevy did this) but the springs are nice, and a good length. Includes new centering pins.

Installed great on a 1999 Dodge Dakota 4x4. Gave me another 2" of suspension lift, truck rides better than before
