Needed to make holes in thin sheets of metal
I needed to make vent holes in some thin metal jar lids and this cuts right through them! It doesn't catch the punched out pieces, so work over a trash can, but I've been really loving the quality of this hole punch. Hopefully it lasts for awhile being used on metal!

Cheap metal
I must be very strong, when i went to push the handle together in my hand trying to puch a hole through plastic, it totally bent and was unusable
