Great fit,made really well
Perfect strength for mid to large size dog's! This is great for my labs. I consider them mid or medium size dog's. The chain is pretty thick & seems to be very durable. It's not too heavy for her & gives me the security of knowing I've got her since she's a bit skiddish at thing's she see's that have been moved outside. I have another 1 of these that's very large that I used on my Rottweilers. So, they're strong enough to control a very large, very strong dog too. Best thing? They hold up. No rust, no cracks, easy to slip on in a hurry & to store. I do agree they shouldn't be left on 24/7. I've had 1 dog get a tooth caught on the chain of the other dog & it was quite a scene. So remove them when not needed. Especially at a dog park where dog's play & run. You don't want to endanger your pet or someone else's. Happy Trails 🐕

Durable and Strong: A Must-Have for Dog Owners
I recently purchased a strong and durable leash for my dog, and I am extremely pleased with its quality. The leash is made of sturdy materials that are able to withstand the strength of my dog, and it also has a comfortable handle for me to hold. The clip is secure and doesn't open easily, so I don't have to worry about my dog getting loose. One of the things that I appreciate the most about this leash is that it allows me to keep my dog under control while also giving him enough freedom to move around. It's perfect for walks and training. I have a pit bull, which is known for its strength, and this leash is perfect for him. It keeps him secure and allows me to feel confident that he won't attack anyone. I highly recommend this leash to any dog owner looking for a durable and strong option. It's affordable and works great, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Don’t leave bad reviews for products you don’t understand.
These are not defective. You just need to know how to use them. I’ve added a video for a bit of reference, but will also explain. When using one of these, you first need to make sure you get the right size. Measure your the widest part of the dog’s head, from under the chin and around the back of the head and behind the ears. Then add between 2 to 3 inches. Too much slack and you risk the collar coming off when the dog lowers their head. It will also require more effort when you try to correct behaviors. Too little and the dog will be uncomfortable, and it will be difficult to take on and off. Two to three inches added to your dog's measurements should suffice. Just remember that the measurements include the rings. After you get the measurements, think about the thickness of the collar. Thicker doesn’t always mean better. The thicker they are, the less of an impact the correction will have. So if you’re using the collar for behavior correction, thicker isn’t better. Thinner collars have a greater impact, and as long as they’re truly stainless steel they shouldn’t break. They also shouldn’t rust or cause any discoloration. (I can’t comment on that about with this collar as I haven’t had it long enough, but I will update this review if needed.) Now that I’ve gone over size and thickness, the next step is use. To use the collar you need to slide the chain through one of the loops to make it into an actual collar. Then figure out what side your dog normally walks on. Now, this is important, FACE YOUR DOG. Have them sit in front of you, and if, when walking, they walk on your right, shape the collar in “q” and slide it over their head. If they walk on your left, shape it in a “p” and slide it over their head. It should slide over their head easily, but not be super loose. It should be like how it feels when you put on a new T-shirt. Snug, but not tight. When it slides past their head it should have about two inches, maybe more, again depending on the breed, of slack. To make sure you’ve put it on correctly, stand next to your dog the way you expect to walk, with the leash attached. Now pull up on the leash. If the collar relaxes back to its original position, you’ve put it on properly. Have fun and be safe. Never leave your dog unattended with this collar on. It is for training purposes only. If your collar does break, try not to panic. Most dogs don’t realise right away that they’ve gotten free. If you can, stay calm and make a slip lead with your leash. That way you can possibly avoid a disaster. If your dogs already running loose two ways to possibly get a dog to come back to you is: 1. open a car door and ask them if they “want to go for a ride” or 2. lay on the ground. The second one sounds dumb, I know, but for some reason, it seems to work. Obviously, the second one is not an option if your dog is in an aggressive mood. However, the first one is a proven method for that. Just make sure it’s your car. Yeah, that was an interesting day. As far as the efficacy of this collar: If my Malinois hasn’t destroyed it yet, I’m pretty sure it’s strong enough for most dogs out there. I can’t speak about it rusting or discoloring my dogs fur but will update if it does. Or if anything changes for better or worse.

Perfect for our husky pup
I bought the SGODA Chain Dog Training Choke Collar for our husky puppy, and it's been fantastic. The quality is great—solid, durable, and the chain doesn't feel flimsy at all. It fits him perfectly, and it’s been super helpful in teaching him proper leash manners without hurting him. He’s definitely a strong pup, so I needed something that could handle his energy. It’s gentle yet effective, and I feel much more in control during walks. Highly recommend for anyone with a strong or stubborn dog!

Just buy it!
I bought this for my husky, as she’s gone through so many collars and I wish I would have bought it sooner! My dogs like to play rough, especially going for each others necks, and there isn’t even a scratch. It stays on great, so I never have to worry if she accidentally gets out the yard. Will be buying one for my other dog.

4 mm links need bigger rings
Great chain but for one thing. I got this for my young male Chesapeake Bay Retriever, now full grown. Over time, I've had the 20", 22", and 24" chain. Each size up, the links get a bit thicker and sturdier, which I like. The rings on the ends, though, stay the same thickness and diameter. They work fine for the 3mm and 3.5mm links, but the 4mm links are so beefy that I find it quite fiddly to drop the loop of chain through the ring to make the collar. This is a move you often have to make quickly and you shouldn't have to futz with it. The 24 really needs rings that are about 1/4" bigger in diameter.

Must have basic collar
Great quality and price. The chain is durable and has lasted my dogs over a year with daily wear without any breakage, rusting, or discoloring of their hair, even after wearing it swimming in pools and in the ocean. It’s true to size, and I like how the larger size has a thicker and heavier chain. I keep my dogs’ tags on here and they are comfortable wearing these collars all day. I do recommend taking the collars off the dogs at night or when unsupervised though because they can choke.

Bon collier, très résistant. Fonctionne comme décrit même si mon chien continuait de tirer malgré l'étranglement.

Not strong enough for a big dog although I bought the right size
Broke after less than 2 months of use. I bought the right size for my dog and he doesn't pull when I take him out for walks.
