Who doesn't love a Jellycat? These are so adorable. I bought this one for a baby shower and had to explain what they were and what this one was in particular. Once everyone realized that the size of the puppy is made that way so toddlers can grasp it along with have a blanket, they were amazed that someone had actually thought about making a stuffed animal that size for smaller children. They are very soft and cuddly. It is a bit expensive for the size but the blanket makes up for it. The size will be perfect for an older baby (maybe 1 year?) or a toddler. My husband even has a Jellycat.

In my opinion, the Monkey Jelly cat is so soft and adorable—perfect for babies.

Update Jan 2022! We tragically lost the original dragon lovey after a year of love. It was still in good shape after a full year of being used as a snot rag and taken everywhere. The fabric had the soft pilly texture of any well loved toy. We just got the replacement and my son has not let go of it for two hours. My advice...buy two!!! Original review: We've had this dragon lovey for over 8 months now and my son loves it, so it deserves a review. It's silky soft, well made, and obviously adorable. My little guy reaches for this every night and self soothes with it. He plays with it when he wakes up. Having a two-in-one small animal with a little blanket is great for small hands and it's perfect for cuddling. The blanket piece is securely sewn onto the animal. The only downside is that it's not machine washable, but I've been able to easily spot clean various toddler grossness with a damp cloth. If you're looking for something for your kiddo to snuggle, or gift to a friend, this is it!

We received one as a gift when my son was first born. Didn't think much of it, but it quickly became THE toy for him. He prefers this over the other ones where the stuffed animal is attached to a binky. He cannot sleep or take naps without it. We know he's tired when he goes looking for "Puppy." I like it because it's super cute (same color markings as our shih tzu), super soft and doesn't have any sewn on buttons or eyes. I'm also grateful for it because it is now more than a mere toy for him, it has become the transitional object that is his "piece of home" no matter where we travel. After our last trip to the Philippines, I noticed it looked extra dingy and I could not get it back to its original color no matter how many times I washed it. We needed a replacement. My mom had tried a different animal that was also attached to a blanket. Didn't fool him. I was so bummed when I went to the company's website and found this particular one has been retired. Couldn't find it here on Amazon, so I tried the other auction site. They were super expensive there for pre-owned ones! A few weeks later, tried again here and lo and behold.. this time I found it! Sooo grateful! For some reason, my son still prefers his original, but at least he "tolerates" this new one better than the other replacement. The other one he chucks soon as we give it to. As you can see by the attached photo, he loves his Puppy and didn't even want to lend it to me for a photo! I only wish I had thought to buy this sooner so the two soothers could age the same.

The Jellycat Bartholomew Bear Soother is absolutely adorable and incredibly soft—perfect for babies to cuddle with. It’s a lovely gift that feels high-quality and comforting. However, I was a bit disappointed with the packaging. The plastic wrapping was damaged when it arrived, which detracted from the overall presentation. Additionally, it didn’t come with a signature Jellycat bag, which would have made it feel more special as a gift. Overall, it’s a wonderful product, but improving the packaging would make it perfect.

Love it. It's cute, ultra soft (but really, you don't know softness until you've touched this) and it's small so it's perfect for tiny humans

This just arrived! It is so stinking cute!! The monkey is tiny and adorable, super plush and soft!! I love jelly cat stuffies, this is the first soother blanket i have bought from the jellycat brand. I hope it stays soft!

Baby loves these! The octopus tentacles are an added bonus for her to play with.
