I didn't think spool would ever run out

I am not a professional welder, but I like to think I am. I just mess with some projects around farm. I have an old miller stick that I been dealing with for many years and my dirt dobber welding is coming along nicely. The unit must weight over 100lbs and must be the age of it as well. So felt like it was time for an upgrade with a wire feeder. Once I dialed in the speed and amps, my new welder with this wire is a game changer. I do not have a lot of experience with different types of wire, All I can say, this left a nice and clean weld. Did not have to grind anything. Did not have to worry about an electrode sticking or scratch starting on rusted metal was not a problem. There was no slag to clean up. During welding process, this wire left a nice clean puddle to work with and penetrated the metal perfectly. I have no complaints about this wire. It does its job well. Packaging & Delivery:] The packaging is as expected and arrived without incident. Delivery was fast and as promised. [Summery:] All in all I am very happy. I am comfortable with the 5 stars. I have no problem recommending this or the seller. I have a HF special type of welder.. I am in no way a pro, and I only use my welder occasionally, when things happen.. I have fixed folding tables where the welds broke, the metal that ripped on my snowblower where the skid shoes mount, fixed broken welds on my tomato cages, and even put on new rocker panels on my car with it (which was great vs using rivets).. etc.. stuff like that.. But that was not enough to justify spending a lot of a good name brand welder, which is one of the few times I can justify buying HF stuff.. Of course, that was many years ago that I bought it, so I have gotten my moneys worth over time using it.. But this is also why, I do not have a ton of experience with welding.. Overall, I have gone through multiple rolls of welding wire though.. and I really have not noticed any real difference between this stuff, and the other brands that I have used.. In the end, as long as the weld holds, that is what is most important to me.. and that it does.. So no real complaints here..

This spool of welding wire fit in my Lincoln Electric welder just fine and ran through the hose out to the end without jamming up. I was a little skeptical at first as I have always used welding wire that requires the welding mix gas, so this was all new, but I liked it. The welds turned out a lot better than I anticipated, I tried breaking one weld and was not able to, so I was happy and satisfied. This welding wire works great in windy or breezy conditions where the welding mix gas gets blown away from the weld. I will come back for more in the future when I need more welding wire.

I'm not much of a welder but I had good luck with this wire. One leg was barely hanging on on our old patio table and I was able to get a good hot weld started on the thin metal without the metal melting down and build it up to fill some pretty good size holes that had rusted out. I had to go slow but this wire worked well on low power setting and a slow feed speed. It was ugly but that's on me. I'll grind it down before my wife paints it to make it look a little better if she insist. I'm confident that I can get a good penetrating, solid weld on thicker material too when needed with this wire.

Ordered some wire a while back and got solid-core instead, and I didnt have any tanks filled yet so couldnt actually make use of solid-core, needed flux-core. Finally ordered some more, this, and actually received what I ordered: flux-core 030 welding wire. The other stuff I got seemed to also not be true to size, in fact it didnt fit any of the wheels in my welder. No idea what size it actually was.. This stuff seems perfect so far and exactly as advertised and expected.
