Lovely

What a wonderful book. It is one of my 2 year old’s favorites. The illustrations are wonderful and keep her attention and the message is perfect. I have heard her telling her stuffed animals “we are all lovely” and it makes my heart very very happy. I would not change a thing about it. I would give it 100 stars if I could.

This book is beautiful and amazing. It’s simple message (that being different is lovely) is emphasized by incredible illustrations that include a variety of races, ages, genders (men, women, genderqueer, trans), and embodiments (disabled, fat, etc). I am buying this for every friend who makes a baby. Perfect thing for queer aunties/uncles to give as first gifts.

This book has a beautiful message that really resonated with my niece. Not only is the sentiment well-meaning, but the illustrations are vibrant - each one a conversation starter.In a world that feels so hyper-critical and intent on dividing us, we need more books like this one! We are all lovely in our own way.

Every library should have this book. It is a simple book that provokes imagination. It includes old you and every member you would find in society. An incredible book.

Awesome book for all. My 2yr old LOVES it! You don’t need to wait until preschool to introduce it to kids!! Start these messages of loving all early! Side note beyond book message, the quality of the pages and print is great which is also why a younger kid can handle without worry of damaging pages.

Both my son and daughter love this book. It’s simple enough for my two year old to memorize and ’read’ it to himself.It turns labels around in fun ways. It’s beautifully illustrated.I cannot recommend this book highly enough. No age is too young to start with this book.
