Impeccable customer service
Long Review. This is for the renewed Proliant DL360 gen 9 server. It was packed well when I got it and had two power cords in the box with it. I immediately plugged it in and started it. However the video out is VGA and as I don't have an adapter I could not tell if it could boot up. I bought an adapter from Best Buy but all that I could see on the monitor were two vertical bars of display and they were too narrow to tell much. The server does have a PCIE slot so then I went to Microcenter and bought an old Geforce 10xx card. Once the card was installed I had display but the machine would freeze on the HP screen. Thinking there was an issue with it booting I called support. The support number on the top of the server forwarded to a cell phone voice mailbox, which didn't give me a lot of hope. Less than two hours later I received a call back. The support person was fantastic. They spent a couple of hours on the phone with me troubleshooting the server. The issue was that the adapter I got from Best Buy was junk and the video card I got from Microcenter did not accurately display the server state. I spent around 15 more dollars on an adapter from Amazon and when I plugged it in the machine booted up. If you buy one of these servers, also buy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QYZQW6B?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 and be done with it. Short review This product is exactly what they said it is and customer service is among the best I have encountered. Well worth the money spent.

Fantastic price for a fantastic server.
A friend of mine sent this listing to me, and I thought it was too good to be true, but I was in need of a virtualization server, and the price was incredible. The product arrived on time, and was packaged incredibly well with padding throughout the box. I got it unpacked, hooked up a monitor, plugged into power on the wall, it turned on without issues and after about 5 minutes I was sitting at the Windows server login. All hard drives are genuine 4tb HP SAS drives (which is great as it means ILO doesn't freak out and run the fans at 100%) in raid 0. I changed the drives to run as a raid 10 8tb drive, and installed proxmox without issues, and I've now got multiple Vms created and running. Overall an amazing deal for an amazing product.

Great price for awesome specs!
I bought TWO because they were such good deals! Highly recommed! I upgraded mine from Windows Server 2019 to Server 2022, but 2019 is still really good. The servers are great but they are very LONG! You'll need a big server rack to hold these, as they are 32 inches long.

Very nice for the home lab
Does a good job. It is a bit dated. It may not run VMware 8, but runs fine on 7.0u3. It is a little slow, and doesn't have massive storage, but like I said, it's great for a home lab.

Great Deal - server as described
Don't believe the few negative reviews. Got exactly what the product description says! Note: Ive bought 4 used servers off amazon over the last few years. For the cheap price expect a few things to go bad. CMOS / RAID batteries. Hard drives will fail. They were used for years. What you should focus on is ram and cpu if the system checks out on those 2 items just buy/replace the other stuff that fails.

Working as expected
I was very happy with how well-packed the item was and it "just worked" right away. All specs are as described and after about 2 weeks online with low load I've had no issue what's so ever. Both power supplies are detected and are able to be slide in and out easily. All hard drives detected, and raid was detected correctly and easy to re-configure. Over all very happy with my purchase.

Be Wary of 'Renewed'!
The product as sold could be great, it's really hard to say as I can't get into the machine because it came PASSWORD PROTECTED. The machin from ConfigureSystem forces you to "register" the product. It's not a registration, it's an attempt to sell extended support plans. On top of not getting the password directly for a machine I purchased, it was difficult to tell whether it was all in working order. It did start and get to the windows prompt. Instead of doing a password recovery, which has to be done because windows requires you logon to the account for recovery since they setup the administrator account as the only one, Amazon's only response is to refund, which I did. Everyone should be careful with what they're buying when something is "renewed". T
