Great product and works great.
Fits great. My husband loves the way this fits in his shoe and ankle. It’s not bulky and helps with his drop foot. Would recommend.

Most effective and comfortable brace I've found!
I purchased one of these almost a year ago. This brace was one of 5 different braces I purchased designed to help with foot drop, and the Dosh brace turned out to be the most effective and most comfortable of them all! Needless to say, after wearing this support for 11 months, it was getting kind of worn, so I bought a new one. I noticed little 'improvements' that actually made this support brace even more effective and more comfortable. It was refreshing that the new brace was even better than the one I bought last year! A pleasant and uncommon surprise. Having to deal with foot drop makes walking difficult, as anyone who has it can affirm. This particular brace makes functioning with foot drop a bit easier. Thank you to the makers of this well made, comfortable and useful product.

It works for my PN
I used to wear AFOs. I have a form of peripheral neuropathy that has fluctuated throughout the years. I recently had a worsening of my neuropathy and was told to get cast-ed for a new AFOs. My neuropathy is mild, not severe. Basically if I'm not looking at my feet while walking or tired and consciously lifting at the knee enough to clear my foot drop I'll trip or fall. I wanted to avoid the tall ugly uncomfortable AFOs I've had in the past and my PT recommended this brace. I bought one at first to try, and it surprisingly works, so I bought a second. I'm learning to golf wearing these! Something I never though I would be able to do because of my foot drop. The only issue is it's difficult to work with my golf shoes and I had to get golf shoes that had the kind of laces that could withstand the pulling.

Very helpful for drop foot
This brace is perfect for my husband who has had undiagnosed trouble with his swinging gait and drop foot for over 7 years. He has been to neurologists who can’t help him, and is now in PT. The PT suggested we get a brace to help him with better biomechanics, and I was happy I chose this one. Oddly, when he first put it on his sneaker, we were surprised he automatically bent his knee and walked forward more normally. It helps him walk more straight and quickly instead of his usual gait where he locks his knee which causes his leg to swing out sideways with each step. Getting another one to attach to his golf shoe so he doesn’t have to keep undoing for different shoes. On the golf course with the brace, he can play an entire round without as much fatigue from hills. He can also carefully walk up a flight of stairs with the brace helping his knee bend. So far, he’s used it for about 2 weeks and hasn’t tripped with it. We’re taking a vacation in a few months which requires walking tours and will definitely bring this with us. We only expected it would help with tripping from catching his toes on the ground and don’t understand why it also helps his knee bend but we’re happy it does! He can have quality of life back.

Don't Buy This Product
The first thing other customers should know is: don't buy this product. I've had foot drop for over 14 years and this does not even come close to being an acceptable brace. It was impossible to properly orient the wrap-around part. The part that is supposed to be slipped under one of the shoelaces and then latched, is way too short. This product is poorly designed, very difficult to use, and is essentially useless.

Medical Wear That Seems To Be Helping
My physical therapist helped me adjust it correctly, and it seeems to help me with my foot drop when I walk. I didn’t want black this time, so thank you for the color choice! I have a small foot, size 3, and we had to tighten the part that goes to the shoelace all the way. Revised: I found that I could use a black one as well and got it. When it arrived it smelled like incense, and it kicked up my allergies. Why send a medical device that smells like that?!?

Loving My Walks Again
This AFO is by far the most comfortable that I have used, and it gives me good support. It feels almost like "normal" walking. The fabric is more comfortable than that used by similar brands. I'm reaching my step goal of 10,000 many days, and enjoying my walks again! I purchased one several months ago, and just purchased three more to be able to keep them attached to various shoes. I will add, though, that while this is great for mild to moderate foot drop, I am doubtful that it would provide adequate support for more severe cases. I'm quite grateful to the individuals who manufacture this AFO.

Easy to use and works well
This is so easy to use with good instructions and only one strap, and it helps a lot. I tried another with two straps, and it was such a pain that I quit trying.

I wore it only once and I went to the gym and I didn’t even walk much. I was on the rowing machine but it broke! So now I’m going home without an AFO which is really unsafe to walk around without one!

This works well for my husband, who has a foot drop due to a stroke, and I will be getting a second piece. A conventional AFO did not work - it was too rigid and difficult to walk in. This does the job without the stiff, uncomfortable plate that goes all the way up the calf. We wear this with Keen Newport shoes, and have this looped round the elastic laces.

I bought this brace to combat my drop foot and it does just that. It is easy to put on as the brace just wraps securely around the ankle and not the foot, so there is no bulk in my shoe which would be uncomfortable. The buckle attaches to my shoe laces and is not hard to manipulate with my arthritic hands. No one can tell I’m wearing the brace when I wear black socks and running shoes. I also have the beige colour brace but did not like the colour of the plastic buckle as it does not match the colour of the brace. I thought it would be better in the summer with shorts on vs. long pants. I prefer the black.
