This was bought for my elderly mother and she keeps it beside her. She can’t really see to read so it is ideal. I don’t know how much she used the Garden Birds one but we had to replace the batteries in it (tiny round ones) so we will keep an eye on these.

Excellent resource for my bird club with 7 year olds

My 2nd purchase in this series, with my personal preference being for the 'Garden Birds' selection however, this is not meant to take from this one which is also attractive to all age groups. Irritating background noise on the buzzard sound recording. I found the reviewer's 'contents listings' of all 3 books, of 27/5/21 on the 'Dawn Chorus' site, to be indespensable.

These series of books are amazing!! My 4 year old grandson absolutely loves them - I started with giving him the garden bird one - and sometimes will take the book in the garden and just sit and listen! I have recently bought three more of the series for his 5th birthday on Tuesday. His love of all nature at such an early age is something to encourage - and he can already identify 5 bird songs without the pictures!! He loves wild life, sea creatures and like most little boys - dinosaurs!! so will have fun with that one!! Thankyou!!!
