I bought this to make chai from a bulk loose tea blend that I bought. The holes are very small, and does a good job of steeping the tea without allowing much of the tea through. It's not perfect, but it's a small enough amount that I feel quite satisfied. It's well-made, and works well. Easy to use and clean. My only complaint would be that it doesn't lend itself very well to making a small amount of concentrated tea (i.e. double-strength tea to mix with milk for a single cup of chai), but that's a pretty niche complaint. Definitely recommend to others.

I use this every day and it's so much better than the mesh ball type. You can fit more too. It's great for loose leaf tea, chicory root tea, and crio bru. I tried coffee grounds once just to see if it would work and a lot got through, but it's great for everything else.

My mom is starting to get into tea, so I bought this for her for Christmas. I have a similar one that I love, so I thought she would like this one. This product is a pretty design, and I love how fine the strainer is. It also fits well into all different sized cups. I love the silicone handles that make it easy to grasp. The other cool thing is the lid. It will keep some heat from escaping, and it also serves as a saucer where you can set the strainer after you take it out of the cup. I would buy this again!

My 91-year-old mom lives with me now and loves her morning Joe. I am not a coffee or tea drinker and instead of using those gross throw-away coffee filters, we gave this a shot. It has held up well over the months. It fits on all the coffee cups I use and is good quality. The only NEGATIVE thing is the black handle thingys. They fall off (which of course is good for cleaning). One fell down the garbage disposal so I tossed them both.

Nice & big. Great with cover for cup to keep tea warm. Very well made. Love not having any tea leaves or sediment in my tea! Very easy to clean, just rinse out.

I absolutely love this little strainer. It holds a decent size of loose tea. This is my first strainer of this type. I’ve recently began drinking loose teas of various flavors and needed a strainer. It has a lid which doubles as a saucer type of dish to hold the strainer after you’ve made your tea. This I find extremely handy so I don’t drip tea on my way to the sink. The strainers metal construction is on the thinner side so I hand wash it. I’m careful not to squeeze/press the walls of the strainer as it would bend it. One reviewer mentioned while washing the strainer she cut her finger on the inner lips edge (Where the top attaches to the strainer body) Yes, I noticed this area of the strainer is sharp so, take note when washing it. I would recommend to the company to maybe file that part to a smooth finish. Even with this issue, I recommend this strainer. It works, it’s large and it is easy to clean. If taken care of, I see this lasting me years.

I've been trying to find a replacement for my favorite but very picky tea enthusiast, and this is it. She gave it 11/10 marks. 1. The holes are much tinier than expected. See the photos of a standard disposable salt shaker for comparison. I can barely see them. 2. Nearly no sediment. You can see a tiny bit in the other photo where some chai specks are caught in the bottom, but the size and quantity are negligible. 3. This is the ideal size. Plenty of room for steeping, but fits into every cup I have, from a huge yeti camping cup to an unusually narrow mug. 4. The handles don't transfer heat. 5. The drip catching lid is genius, and lets the chai steep hotter. 6. Cool pattern.

I love hot tea and this strainer fits the bill. No loose tea particles in my cup of tea. I like that the lid fits securely keeping the heat in until you are ready to drink.
