Just got these two days ago and they are very good quality and strong. I built a very heavy work bench and I can move it with ease. The bolts that come with them are not suitable for wood and they are very short, 40mm I think. I used good quality wood screws to fix them to the bottom of the bench legs.

Bought them for my wood work table. boy these castors are as solid as it can get. very well made. they will last a long time and its half the price of what specialist shops. cant fault it. will buy for other furniture etc from GBL . thanks UPDATE LONG TERM USAGE:---- these are fitted on a workbench in a garage with high moisture level, nothing has rusted, table is used to hammer the joints in. these coasters has not failed me at all. I thought I should let other potential customers know

Product is good, but Amazon policy for undeliverable damaged parcel need improvement. Bad feeling to buy again and then waiting for the refund of the undeliverable items. Why not just simply dispatch a new one if in stocks.

On opening the box it is plain to see that these are quality castors. I have held off on writing a review as I was waiting to build the cabinet that they were intended for. They are brilliant. When they are locked there is no movement in the cabinet. Any other locking castors I have ever used always have some bit of wobble when the wheels are locked but not these ones. I wont be using any other castors from now on . These are brilliant and still priced similar to inferior products.

Was worried after reading some reviews suggesting these are hard plastic rather than rubber, but having bought 3 sets, cannot understand the problem. I have them on 3 steel storage boxes (the site vault variety) and they work perfectly. For sure, these are not your soft, premium inline blade' wheels, but industrial level castors (which are not designed for your personal comfort nor to be changed every month or so from being worn down by being soft comfort rubber). These are certainly a harder rubber, with a very slight rubber-like feel, but still rubber nonetheless. Glided smoothly outdoors over paving, no complaints from me. Might be a different case on smooth hard surfaces such as tiles or laminate, but can't see it being like plastic wheels (as they are not plastic). One set came without the correct number of bolts /nuts which was a bit annoying, locking tabs are a bit small but very secure (I.e. You need a fair bit of strength to pull them up)

I use these on a solid timber workbench in the garage so that I can optimise the limited space. The bench is really easy to move around and they certainly take the weight. I could have used a lower sized set but it is always better not to use things at their near maximum tolerance. The brakes work well and prevent any movement. I also use other sized GBL castors on a garden planter and a bed. They seem good quality.

Great smooth heavy duty castors! Even look good. I installed these on a self made workbench, so I can work both inside the shed and outside. I use a circular saw a lot, so I wanted/ needed really stable wheels, which these are. Stable when on brakes, easy smooth rolling with relatively large wheels with brakes of. Very happy with them!

I bought these to put on a shop cart and my first impressions are that these are very solid, well made wheels. Heavy gauge steel and good bearings hopefully translates into very long lasting wheels. They roll very well, even on my uneven shop floor. The brake locks not only keep the wheels from rolling, they lock the pivot as well. You lock them and nothing is moving anywhere. So at this moment in time I think these are a great bang for the buck.
