SIMPLI-MAGIC 50 Liter / 13.2 Gallon Soft-Close, Smudge Resistant Trash Can with Foot Pedal and Built in Filter- Stainless Steel, Sleek Finish

Solid metal (even the lid!) can with plastic insert. This is a nice looking, well-made trash bin. The foot lever works great and soft-close lid closes quietly (I left the styrofoam insert that was packed inside the lid on, so that it's completely silent when closing). One tiny detail that I'm not a fan of, although it probably isn't even an issue for most people (unless you're a minimalist/perfectionist like me), is the printed (in black) brand name on the top of the white lid (see pic) ---it detracts from the clean look of the solid white surface. But, I would still purchase this bin again, it's quality!

This item arrived well packaged and protected. Set up was a simple matter of removing it the the packaging, putting in a 13 gallon kitchen trash bag and placing the item where I wanted it. Nothing could have been easier. The foot pedal activated lid moves smoothly and quietly with no last second slam upon closing. I like the size of the trash can, as well as the color of silver stainless steel finish. The trash can is substantial so it won't accidentally move during use. Mine is brand new so I can't speak to longevity or value over time, but it appears to be good quality so I am hopeful of many years of problem free use.

Very classy and hasn’t had any issues! Happy with this choice.

13.2 Gallon Gun Metal Black - Just out of the box! So just very first impressions and I will come back to update later. I was a little bummed as it’s not as black as stock photos show. In certain lights it looks more silver. The listing says Gun Metal Black and the box says Polished Nickel Black. And it didn’t look as square as the photos showed. The dimensions are slightly off - ours is just below 25” tall (not 26”), and the width is 15.5” (not 15”), and 11” deep is pretty accurate if you’re not counting the black hinge in the center back of lid. On that note that was not really pictured in the listing so I hadn’t realized how much that stuck out but it doesn’t scratch the wall or seem to be an issue. Also, none of the pictures I’ve seen showed that it had the brand name and logo on the lid, but ours does. Don’t love that but I think I do like it better than had it been in the front face of can. It’s got a good weight to it (nice and sturdy). No outside side handle slots like I have seen on other reviewer’s photos. But when the lid is open it’s easy enough to move if needed. Ease of installation is A+ as it’s fully assembled out of the box!! But I really did a lot of research and the reviews and price point are great. I’ll come back and update after some use but the foot pedal works great. I think it will be a great trash can. It’s a good size, sleek and modern looking.

This was my 3rd or 4th attempt at a garbage can my dogs can’t open or knock over. WIN!!! Fits a large kitchen trash bag. Easy in/out of bag. Worth every Penny! No more waking up to dog garbage parties since buying this trash can!!!

Great size, love the removable plastic liner & looks nice. Only downside is the annoying sound of metal vs metal when the lid closes. In other words, “SHHH…IT CLOSES QUIETLY” is false advertising. So beware, before you purchase, if that is something that might annoy you.

Really nice trash can kind of pricy but what isn`t now.
