Instructions are just not clear. If this is your first time with wooden puzzles - find another brand. Design is nice.

I’ve been pleased with the ROKR products we have built, and this is no exception. The craftsmanship is excellent, and they have plenty of extra pieces for things that might break or get lost. My 9-year-old daughter is very pleased with her cello. It occupied her for hours on Christmas Day, and she was exposed to engineering and construction principals.

Ordered this gift for my dad, who loves model kits and tinkering with his hands. It ended up being the perfect spark to reignite his old passion. It’s definitely a bit technical and not something you breeze through in an hour, but that’s exactly what made it so satisfying for him. The instructions were detailed, and while a few steps took a bit of puzzling out, he found the process really engaging. The quality was sublime. Everything felt well-cut and sturdy, with a precision that made it feel like a premium kit. He did mention that a couple of parts needed a steady hand and some extra care during assembly, but overall, the fit was smooth and satisfying. It’s made from wood, which gives it a really warm and natural look once it’s finished. As for the final model, the cello has a cool design and a surprising amount of detail that makes it feel more like a little sculpture than just a model. It now sits on a shelf in the living room and is a conversation starter for guests. It’s one of those pieces that feels both classic and creative, and it really stands out in the best way. I’d say this is best for someone who enjoys a challenge and likes working with their hands, definitely not a rush job or something for really young kids. This is best for hobbyists or anyone looking for a hands-on gift.

3rd product from ROKR(and/or Robotime?) I've built, and haven't been disappointed yet. The wood, even though it is plywood, gives a good feel compared to plastic toys. Pressure fits and screws are well made with good tolerances, but because there aren't any built-in threads, feels a bit easy to overscrew. Careful hands are required, and hands that don't mind being roughed up a bit. Not as mechanically interesting as the pendulum clock, but very eye-pleasing.
