Pack of 20 x 12" inch Gatefold Double Vinyl Record Album LP PVC Sleeves Covers

Good fit, heavy duty clear vinyl, open at both ends and in the middle. I wish I could source single album sleeves that were this good. The two different types I have tried were basically plastic bags. This is my second purchase of these sleeves from Vinyl Guru and I would recommend them to any vinyl collector.

Having previously bought cheaper options, these are far better and truly do your favourite albums justice!

These clear glossy PVC gatefold sleeves are ideal for double albums with large spines and are large enough to have an outer overlap of 4 to 5mm whilst the inner cover is a perfect size for the album sleeve. The inner cover is protected almost completely with a gap of a couple of cm's for the spine fold. The PVC is heavy duty and the seams appear very strong - these are the best double album sleeves I've come across and I will be buying more. Whilst these are ideal for double albums they are probably a bit too big for most single gatefold album sleeves unless the album has a particularly large spine. EDIT: I bought a 2nd batch of these sleeves and was disappointed to find that one sleeve had a slight tear and another was missing the bottom corner so I've knocked one star off my rating. Another slight annoyance was that the sleeves had been folded inside out - this wasn't too much of a problem for the sleeves on the outside of the pack but the ones in the middle had a substantial crease the wrong way around that meant that the sleeves initially at least would leave quite a gap off the spine of the sleeve rather than fitting snugly, but I'm sure this will not be a problem long term.

My gatefold albums now feel very well looked after. A bit of a luxury but worth the investment. They will be protected and you get to enjoy the artwork inside - which is the whole point of this format. Great!

Quality product. I like to keep my vinyl sleeves in good condition and many of the protective sleeves available today are just not good enough quality. These are the best I have come across so far; - Quality thick plastic covers [like the ones I remember in HMV in the 80's], not the flimsy plastic bag type. - Clear view of cover art, even seems to enhance the colours. - Solid snug fit, with just enough movement to allow the sleeve to slide in without forcing. If you want to protect your gatefold vinyl sleeves - buy these

Love these well made tough and a good fit

I bought these along with 50 x 12" inch Vinyl Record Album LP 450 Gauge Polythene Sleeves Covers . I was disappointed with the single sleeves as they were slightly opaque with a streaky appearance, so I returned them. These however are perfect in size and appearance and hold the double sleeves nicely. They are quite expensive compared to single covers, so I'm withholding the 5th star until I see how long they last.
