A healthier alternative to most boba pearls out there
I had no problems making these. The texture was close to perfect, being chewy and soft. I make half of a bag at a time. After I rinse them with cold water, I add organic maple syrup before adding a couple scoops to my milk tea.

Close but Not like the ones from the tea shop
I bought these because I love bubble tea but my local shop puts sugar syrup in everything and I was looking for a sugar-free alternative. I should have read better because these are made with brown sugar and had I realized that I would not have bought them. I prepared them according to package directions. First, they are clear green, not the dark color like at the shop. Thatโs ok, especially if it means no junk. Second, they are smaller than the ones at the bubble tea shop. I guess I can live with that, but I would have liked them to be the size of blueberries rather than the size of peas. But, the deal breaker for me, is the texture is not the same as the tea shop. The ones at the shop are chewy but these are softer. Iโll finish the ones I have but I wonโt buy them again because they are smaller and have a different texture and are made with brown sugar. If I could give 3.5 stars I would, because they are not awful. But they are not the same as the tea shop, which is what I was looking for.

Easy to make, fantastic results!
I followed the directions to cook the boba pearls. While they cooked, I made two cups of an easy simple syrup with water and brown sugar. When the boba was done, I added the pearls to the syrup (everything was cool), then put them in individual serving baggies and put them in our freezer. Our kiddos can just pull a pack out, put it in hot water for a few minutes, fill a cup with ice & milk then add the boba & syrup. Itโs SO delicious, so much healthier and only cost around $1.25 per cup! This is the way we will make boba from now on. I feel better knowing my kids get the treat they love, but with much cleaner and mostly organic ingredients (all other ingredients are organic).

Great taste from healthy ingredients
I really like the flavor of the pearls they just slightly sweet and a good texture however, the pearls are really only good the day you make it. The second day they got very sticky and dry. I will try again but only cook a portion of them at a time and use them that day. Mine cooked in the instant pot. I may have left them in there an extra 10 minutes so I will be more on it next time and see if it improves the texture. All in all, it's nice to find a healthy pearl for tea.

Look elsewhere
Meh overall. Followed the instant pot directions and still ended up with some undercooked pearls. Speaking of, this is pretty much Sago and much more expensive. The pearls are white in color, not black like bubble tea boba, and the chewy texture is different as well (not in a good way). Ill just buy Sago next time for a better price if thats what this is. Disappointed

Great boba
This is a great tasting boba. A lot of you ended up with sticky or big blobs. You overcooked it. If you are making half, you still need lots of water. 8 to 10 cups for half the bag. Use a big and wide pot, this keeps it from sticking. Let it come to a boil first. Slowly add the boba, don't dump it. Keep stirring. After this you want to stir every 3 to 4 minutes to make sure they don't stick. After you add your boba, reduce your heat. It should still be boiling but not a lot, but more than a simmer. You boil for 40 minutes. At this point, your boba should be somewhat clear. Taste one. If it is the right consistency for you, you do not have to let it rest. When done, strain and rinse in cold water while STIRRING. Then store boba in brown sugar or sugar syrup. If you store in fridge for next day, warm in microwave. First day it tastes best.

This Boba is tasteless!!
Totally tasteless!!!! They were pasty to the touch and completely tasteless. Do not recommend at all!!! We were having a Boba Birthday party and we threw out a whole bag of these Bobas. Wasted my money. I had to give it a one to have this submitted but itโs not even a one!

Delicous and clean-eating boba pearls!
I love these! It's so nice to be able to make boba at home so I can make it with less sugar and use whatever milks and teas I want! It's so much healthier this way. I really love that this brand uses such clean ingredients too! It's the best one I've found. And the texture is amazing! I dont like that they only include the recipe to make the entire bag on the back of the bag - lol who needs that much boba at once!? So what I found it you can actually just boil a big pot of water and put a few servings of the pearls in and let it boil for 45 minutes - then take them out and drain them and let them sit and cool down naturally for like 15 minutes and then you have perfect boba! :)
