Awesome Product!!!!!
Why did you choose this product over others?: After hours of research this product came out tops! Dometic make some of the best quality products on the market. Was originally going to be used in my van conversion, but that never happened so now it’s used in my Tesla when out on long road trips instead.

Very useful.
A great addition to the water jug. Having the preset 1 litre that gets dispensed has been especially useful for filling the kettle. USB-c would have been nice to have.

Well made product
Amazing bit of kit coupled with the dometic water tank. Hardly had to recharge unit. Would recommend.

The lazy mans way to getting tap water.
The tap is well designed, with a magnetic base which clamps onto the provided base-plates with a satisfying 'clunk'. The sticky patches for those plates are quite tenacious, so be sure of where you place them. The pump on the tap is sufficient to pull water from a lower source, so a gravity feed is not needed. My only gripe is that the spigot provided for the provided pipe is lacking any kind of 'barb' at the end, so the longer reinforced pipe I wanted to use needed both some gasket sealant, and a rubber band around the tap and hose-clamp to make sure it didn't slide off. It works, but shouldn't really be necessary; a hose clamp that slides the pipe off the fixing point when you try and tighten it is very irritating. Hence the need for the rubber band fix. Other than that, I can move the tap around, it is very quiet in operation, appears to be durable, and recharging it is simple, although be aware that it uses the previous generation of USB mini connection, NOT USB-C. Whether it is worth the expense remains to be seen. So far, it works and I am happy with it.

Great charges really quick
Have used this for a few months now and what I like is when it’s out of charged you can plug the charging cable in and it still works and charges at the same time. Really like it

Quality product-worth the money spent
A high quality product, well worth having spent the extra money for this tap. It's magnetic base is a real bonus and adds to its versatility.

First off, just grab a longer silicone hose now. I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQCNQ9SP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title As all the other reviewers mention, the hose is indeed comically short. It would only be of use if you were setting the pump directly on top of your container or something. But beyond that, this thing works really well. It's true that there are so many other 15-20 dollar options on Amazon, but I have a lot of Dometic stuff in our overland kit, and I love the quality. The button requires a double tap to start, and it's kind of a soft touch button. It feels like tapping your touchscreen phone, but you have to press slightly harder. It's kind of a strange in-between that's required pressure-wise, but it works well enough. You can even do very small amounts of water once you get the hang of the on/off command. To those that complain about how slow it is, I'd say get over it and consider that this is a small battery powered pump with a USB charger. This isn't a 60psi pressurized water system in your house. It pumps out a 1/4" stream of water that takes about 15 seconds or so to fill up a 1L bottle. I'm happy with that. It beats picking up a big 5g jug to fill a Nalgene. By the way, the auto-off feature is pretty nice because it seems to fill up about a liter. So if you have a 1.5L bottle that's empty, you could put it underneath, turn on the pump and walk away if you wanted.

It didn't work at all, only the light worked, but the pumper failed to pump water right after I took it out of the box!!

Don't buy cheap knock off. This is what you need for your overlanding setup. I did have to upgrade on the longer hose though to fit my needs
