I ordered the TP-Link product from Amazon to save time and because it’s a trusted brand. Initially, it worked well for the first 20 days, but then it suddenly stopped functioning. When I contacted customer care, they suggested a lengthy process involving a visit to the service center, which is far from my location. This means I would need to spend time and money traveling there. I’ve lost trust in TP-Link due to this experience. It would be better if they offered door-to-door service for their malfunctioning products instead of making customers go through such a complicated process.

Ideal for bumping up maximum performance of my laptop going from 2,4Ghz 144 Mbps to 5Ghz 800+ Mbps. In reality this made my transfer of movies to my budget WD NAS go from 10-15 MB/s to 40-50 MB/s. Because of the size very handy to leave in, if you want range to be better you probably have to go with a big antenna version. Very good for most home indoor applications.

Ich nutze den TP-Link Archer T3U Nano WLAN-Stick für einen älteren Laptop, und bisher läuft alles stabil. Die Verbindung ist schnell und zuverlässig, auch bei Streaming oder größeren Downloads keine Probleme. Für die Größe echt beeindruckend der Stick ist so klein, dass man ihn kaum bemerkt. Ein wichtiger Hinweis: Vor der Installation sollte man die alte Netzwerkkarte im Gerätemanager deaktivieren. Sonst versucht der Laptop immer, das Standardnetzwerk zu nutzen, und die Verbindung über den Stick funktioniert nicht richtig, bzw. springt dann auf die langsamere Netzwerkverbindung über. Nach dem Deaktivieren lief alles problemlos. Die Einrichtung war einfach: Treiber installieren, Stick rein, und schon war ich online. Dualband (2,4 GHz und 5 GHz) funktioniert gut, und die Reichweite ist für meine Zwecke völlig ausreichend. Fazit: Für ältere Geräte eine super Lösung, wenn man schnelles WLAN möchte. Preis-Leistung passt, und die Nano-Größe ist praktisch, weil nichts stört oder absteht.

Por el momento va muy bien, estable y muy rápido. Va más rápido que el propio del portátil pues éste ya no iba bien. El Windows 10 lo ha detectado sólo y no ha hecho falta usar los drivers que tiene la caja. El tener USB 3.0 en el portátil se obtiene mejor rendimiento como en mi caso.
