I loved this MEFA gel enamel kit. It brings a variety of beautiful, super pigmented colours, perfect for any occasion. The enamels are easily applied, they are not thick and with few layers the color looks intense and bright. The duration also surprised me a lot, my nails stayed beautiful for more than two weeks without getting up or losing their shine. In addition, the kit brings everything you need to do nails at home like a professional. It is ideal for both beginners and people who already do manicure at home.

It's a really nice set for people who are new to gel nail polish like me. There's a very wide range of colors with some nice glitter polished that work well on their own or can go on top of other colors and a matte top coat that looks great. The bottles are all black and the stickers on top aren't the best matches to the shades, so I really recommend using the sample nails. I haven't used any of the decor (glitter, rhinestones, etc) but they all look nice and were sealed well. The bottles are very small but that's the price you pay for such a big variety of polishes; the biggest issue is how small the top and base coats are but I can just buy more at the store. The tools are nice and work well, the cuticle oil has a pleasant rose scent, the UV light works very well, and none of the bottles arrived cracked or leaking. I only wish there was a detailing brush and dotter, but I can buy that separately.

Update: Dec 3, 2025 day three wearing the purple color and it's already peeling. Check out pictures I added with the purple color. I still like how solid the color seems but I was hoping to wear it a full week. First gel polish I wear that peels off. Maybe it's for people that doesn't do chores (even with gloves) or has a busy life. Not only that the bottles are very small, but they have very little product inside because when I try to go for a second dip, I literally have to almost close the whole bottle to be able to reach the product. It should not be like that like seriously. The colors are very pretty and it works well with the light, but it's just very little not worth the price at all. I can say that he has less than half of nail polish in each tiny bottle. I give a four stars because the colors are solid, bright and the some polishes are thicker in consistency. I like that part but I don't know. I think I can use one whole bottle maybe five times? If you only doing the nail for your self, then painting the nail samples is a waste of product. With the very little product in each bottle, it will be a waste to even do that. Up to you

Well. Here we are. Nails cost $50 minimum and while we want to give our nail techs the $$$ I've never found a nail tech or salon in my area that did what I wanted or didn't completely destroy my nails. I typically do regular polish, but I work on a farm and my nails grow fast, which is a blessing and problem, because I turn around and suddenly one will break because of excessive washing, trying to catch a sheep, etc. A nurse at my dr office had stunning nails and she said she does them herself just using random gel kits from Amazon. I was amazed. I couldn't stop thinking about it. One thing I got at my last salon was a "dip no chip" nail. They did a thin dip base and then gel top coat. I had broken two nails last week, so I ordered a dip repair kit and did that as a base yesterday on all my nails(aotek repair kit, no activator to keep rougher surface, just buffed a bit). I need a lot of practice, as these aren't shaped great and a little chunky, but today this gel kit came and wow. Easy, cured beautifully. I'm pretty steady with painting nails, as I've done my own with regular polish for about 15 yrs, so you may not want to start with something this permanent if you need practice in that dept. The base coat is sticky, which I couldn't remember was normal, but I just went with it. Three thin coats of color and cured 60sec between. Top coat I cured for 90sec. Beautiful, hard. Gorgeous. I will try to remember to update on how removal goes and wear lasts. I don't think I'm going to try and make my manis last more than 10-14 days, because of my fast nail growth and why not try more colors more often when I did the gel portion on this many in 15 minutes? Opposed to 30-50 for regular polish?! One singular con is that I did do thin coats of color and some nails are still a little more transparent than others. Not sure if the opacity is a little weak on this color (the salmon pink/coral in the classic kit), or I went too thin on these coats. I literally got this on sale for $24.99. It comes with everything you could need. And the finished nails look BETTER and less bulky than the first time I did dip nails at a salon. 5/5stars

So I realize that this is a $30 nail kit and you get what you pay for, there are definitely some pros as well as some cons. Pros: 1) The light works really well and doesn’t have a bottom so it can be used for manicures and pedicures 2) There polish seems to last decently well (for me anywhere from 7-9 days, and I’m rough on my hands so that’s pretty decent for me) 3) Color of polish, there are quite a few pretty colors, and some colors I’ll never wear but all in all they are okay and a wide range of colors to choose from. Cons: my biggest issue with this set is that the polish does not come off easily. I specifically purchased 100% pure acetone and no matter how long I leave it sitting on my nails the color does not come off. I mean the color will chip off but as far as soaking it off, I have to sit there for about 45 minutes with acetone on my fingers before I can even get the color to slightly flake off, which I have to use a cuticle pusher to completely scrape it off, and that has caused a lot of damage to my nails. From my experience with other gel polishes after about a good 10 minutes soaking they should come off without much work but like I said this polish I’m sitting there for 45 minutes and ultimately have to scratch it off which is super damaging to the nail bed and I do not like that. All in all the purchase was worth it to me for the light, but I will be looking to buy some different gel colors from another brand.

Original: This kit is great quality. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this did prove to be well worth the purchase. The light works perfectly. The tools are very helpful. The colors are rich and look great. The polish bottles are extremely small but I consider them more of a sample size considering all you receive for the price, so I wouldn’t say I was disappointed. I just need to be very mindful because if I try to repeat a color I am a little worried that the bottle will run out the second time around. But again, considering everything you receive, I don’t see this as a problem so it does not effect my rating. I did a pedicure about 8 days ago and as long as you handle the steps with care and patience, you really can’t go wrong. I’ve received compliments on the color and because I took my time, I can’t really tell the difference between the at home and salon treatment. I did also clean my nails thoroughly, soaked my feet in salts, used a cuticle oil, etc., so that definitely helped with the results. But that should be expected since the salon preps your nails as well. I do love that there hasn’t been a single chip or peel in the polish. The description says it can last up to 28 days. If I can get a solid 2 weeks, I’ll be very happy since that’s about the time I would wait between color changes anyway. Definitely worth a try whether you’re looking to save money or simply don’t love going to the salon. Updated: Unfortunately this product doesn’t have much longevity. I tried a manicure for the first time on Friday. By Monday morning it was peeling off and chipping. My pedicure had much better success, but I really purchased this for manicures. What’s worse is that tried to redo the nails that were messed up today and the lamp started to burn my skin. I could deal with the occasional fill in or even redoing a nail completely (even though I expect it to last more than three days) but the lamp burning my skin on the third use is not something I’m willing to tolerate. I will be returning this unfortunately. I’m sad about this one - I had so much hope for it after the first use.

Disappointing that when being sold in Australia the UV lamp has a USA adapter!! Didn’t see this written in the notes, therefore ruining and otherwise good kit :(

I bought this product. The nail polishes are amazing and I mean excited to use the lead light. Unfortunately if you live in Australia you will have to buy a different adapter for the plug-in as it is an American one. Just a heads up if no one knows.

Could not use it as non-Australian plug. Disappointing as an item bought in Amazon.com.au should work here. Amazon refunded money.

The bottles are very small, but that's what I expected for the price. My only real issue is that there appears to be some sort of lint in some of the bottles, which can make it tricky to get a really clean application. Some of the reviews say they never dry - please note these are GEL polishes. They won't air dry; you need a UV lamp to cure them. I used these to do the pink details on the nails pictured; they're quite pigmented for the price.

Avoid buying this product at all costs. The polish doesnt dry at all, waited approximately 1 hour, to give the benefit of the doubt yet hasnt even dried an inch, only to mess it up all over my clothes. What a waste of money..because i had already teared up the packet and tried applying 5-6 , so cant return and had to throw away.. please avoid this
