Some idiot and his boss decided that the markings on tape measure that have been used for several decades must be too confusing so they decided to mark every 1/8th inch on the entire tape. On top of being stupid, they then made all of the lines the same length. Am I supposed to count 27 tick marks to get an accurate measurement.Why would anybody think this was a good idea.Every time I get stuck using this thing, I end up swearing for the next 5 minutes because I wasted my money.Oh, let's not go into the fact that it can barely extend 5' before snapping.
