I haven't used flaxseed oil, only flaxseed gel caps, so can't compare this brand to other brands. I bought it to use on my extremely dry legs and arms, and as a moisturizer and humectant.Use sparingly, it doesn't take much to get results. I was pleased to discover it absorbs into your skin quickly, and you don't have that oily effect.My hair is thick, wild, and it's been colored forever so regular hair products don't cut it. I pour a dime size amount in one hand and rub both hands together, then cut fingers through hair distributing more where you need it, less where you don't, and avoid roots or you might get flathead.It's probably too heavy for fine and thin hair.I'll buy again, but it'll be a while before I use this bottle up. Great product at an even greater price.
