I honestly wish I could give this speaker a lower rating. This is a TERRIBLY designed speaker. Im 29 and had Bluetooth speakers in HS and even those back then were superior to w.e. this is. #1 and my biggest peeve NO DEDICATED MANUAL BUTTON TO PUSH IN ORDER TO PUT THE SPEAKER INTO PAIRING MODE. This thing just defaults into pairing mode which u would think would be good but it isn't. Especially if u want to use multiple devices. #2 this speaker is meant for ONE DEVICE. and ONE ALONE. dont EVEN connect to it to anything else once you've connected it to one thing. I had it connected to my laptop and then paired it to my phone and now it seems to be stuck between trying to lock onto my phone and onto my laptop. I bought this in 2025. Are u kidding me? I really wish the designers of this model to see this review because this design is beyond hot garbage. The speaker will literally get stuck into trying to pair because there's no manual pair button, no reset button, and none of the troubleshooting methods even work REMOTELY. I get it. Its a cheap speaker. Cheap doesn't have to equal GARBAGE. and thats what this is. The only redeemable selling point here is HIGH SOUND QUALITY. Its good in that aspect but having issues with the BLUETOOTH functionality of this speaker takes away half its use and functionality. The best way to use this darn thing is with an aux cable plugged directly in. At that point they should just market this as a REGUALR speaker with a gimmicky Bluetooth. This was a bad design and I cant believe this speaker went all the way through to manufacturing and distribution. No one tested this speaker with consumers? Don't ever design a Bluetooth speaker that auto pairs and can only do so to one singular device. Thats actual garbage. Then to not even include a way to reset the device... I cant believe the original listing on their website is $60 cuz honestly this is a $5-$10 speaker and i mean that most sincerely. Even $20 is too much for the quality u of hassle u get from this thing. Its BEAUTIFUL when paired to one device and one only. If you can put a label on your speaker to never pair it with anything else then by all means buy this. But if you want ACTUAL Bluetooth functionality meaning you can pair as many devices to the speaker as you want (not at once mind you) and it doesn't automatically disconnect itself tryna search for a Bluetooth signal from a previous device thats off to begin with. I hate to rant like this truly. But a bit of chastising has been earned for this device. Its bad tech. Its as simple as that.

This speaker works perfectly. The bluetooth hooks up with no trouble everytime. The speaker lasts a long time(several hours) when using unplugged..However, I recommend turning off the party lights to extend the play time. The speaker is plenty loud although the sound quality is lacking in some ways if you compare it to more expensive speakers but its not a big deal for what this speaker costs. Updated review: Speaker worked great for 8 months. Now it won't hold a charge..In the garbage it goes..

I would have given this speaker 5 stars until recently. It was easy to connect and had great sounds for the price. I loved it for a small desktop speaker. Less than a year in though it will charge and turn on but it will no longer connect to any device. If it had longevity it would absolutely be a great speaker but to crap out in under 10 months not worth the buy.

Pros: Acceptable audio for the price. Quick bluetooth connect. Good feel and great ratings. Cons: Bought twice, sent back twice. Bluetooth generated audio from my Hisense H8 TV played fine on my Oontz and Sony Bluetooth Speakers but the Bolabutty couldn't do better than about 10 dropouts per minute of audio. I really wanted to love this speaker. I never thought twice about the ordering the second one immediately after sending the first one back. I was so sure that I must have gotten one of the few lemons based on the Amazon ratings and looked forwart to getting the second one that was without flaws. Exactly the same deal sever audio dropouts that weren't there on my other bluetoot speakers nor my various headphones. I would still buy the product if I knew for sure the third time would be different. I'm guessing the problem is in the bluetooth receiver but it didn't make any difference whether the speaker was 2 feet or 20 feet from the source.

UODATE: I had trouble connecting. Customer Service took care of me. Thats fair. Original Review: If you can get this to connect time-after-time you deserve the Pulitzer Prize. I've tried numerous times on TV's and phones. It MIGHT connect initially, but without fail, if I try to connect a few days later or to a different device it just doesn't work. I confess I had two paired (TWS) to a smart TV and that was fun while it lasted. Buy ANKER's and save frustration.

While it is less expensive than other bluetooth speakers. Pairing - can only be paired with one device; in other words all the other devices within reach need to have their bluetooth turned off in order to pair let's say with the laptop, or phone or table. In order to connect to another device, have to disconnect from the current one in use and then connect with the new device as opposed to other bluetooth speakers where you can connect with another device without disconnecting it or the bluetooth. I did not know this prior to purchasing, only when I tried to have the device paired with my iPhone, iPad and laptop. I have another speaker that automatically connects to whatever device I use at the time. Would not recommend

this is the second one i bought after the first one would not turn off. i’m talking like bluetooth disconnected, the power button did nothing. i held it down for 8 seconds, 20 seconds and 45 seconds w no resolve. the lights on the ends never turned off. the speaker would b dead after a day max. but no. they were glowing and blinking for over 3 days. the second one, same exact issue down to it all. instant return. so upset that i went through this twice and it’s not like i got to play it for a few weeks or a few months. i got one or two days with it max.

Speaker will not turn off, blue Bluetooth light just keeps blinking nonstop. Poor quality. Bad performance. And I probably only used it 15x in the last 6 months. No way of getting ahold of the seller either. A shame.
