Made from thick, heat-resistant 100% cotton, they’re generously sized with plenty of forearm coverage. I can grab my screaming-hot cast-iron Dutch oven straight out of a 500°F oven with zero fear. Great grip, no slips, and my hands stay completely protected. They’re comfortable, not bulky, machine-washable, and still look brand new after tons of use. The hanging loops make storage easy, and getting two high-quality mitts for the price is a steal. These are pretty and they work just as they should. They go with my kitchen and are nice and thick so no burned hands.

Not a bad pot holder at all. However, to all the chefs out there far and wide, I might recommend not ordering the cream color. One of my first projects with these new bad boys - I was making baked brie and let’s just say the baked Brie turned into more of a Jackson Pollock esque painting inside of my oven. While, yes, these mints protected my hands from the scalding hot cheese, they did also get covered in cheese… Especially burnt and blackened cheese, which certainly stained these light covered mitts that were brand new at the time. I have obviously kept the Mits, but it is a daily reminder of my baked brie failure, and the dinner party that I hosted without a hors d’oeuvre. I am not sure if a darker color is better for food related staining and catastrophe but these do look very cute. I am just sad to have ruined them so soon into their life. I still go back-and-forth with silicone of admits are better for cleanliness and staining alone, but I am old-fashioned and like the look of these cloth ones.

I have had these for a year now and I love them. The blue gingham is the main reason I bought these ngl.

I bought these to replace my 30 year old mitts that had worn too thin and would no longer wash up. After trying many gloves with short thumbs, short finger tips or short wrist covers and rejecting silicone versions as they are less flexible, we settled on these KitchenAid mitts. They are a great fit to both mine and my husband's hands and comfortable grab on the hot dishes, pans and bowls. My only concern is will they last and protect as well as my old cotton terry gloves. ( They got gnarly but I never got burned). These mitts are thinner than my old ones so we will see! Hoping technology is helping with the heat shielding. I have used with oven temps of 425 so far. Will be testing the cast iron next!

Very cute and made well. The color will coordinate nicely with my kitchen. I like that they are not so long that they go up to my elbows like others I have tried.
