Taste, easy to make, but a bit too pricey

Naturally, I was excited to try Protein Works' Loaded Protein Pancake Mix in the Milk Choc Chip flavor. After a couple of weeks, here's my scoop: The Good: 1. Generous Portions: The 500g bag offers plenty of mix, making about 8 hearty servings. When it’s on sale for under £15, it’s an absolute bargain. 2. Fluffy Texture: These pancakes cook up nice and fluffy, which is a pleasant surprise for a high-protein product. 3. Filling: One serving keeps me full for hours, which is fantastic for those of us trying to manage weight while maintaining muscle. The Not-So-Good: 1. Choc Chip Disappointment: While there are plenty of chocolate chips in the mix, they tend to lose their flavor once cooked. Don't expect a rich chocolatey burst in every bite. 2. Synthetic Taste: The pancakes have a bit of an artificial vanilla flavor with a slight eggy aftertaste, even though you only add water to the mix. It’s not your traditional pancake taste, so adjust your expectations. 3. Repetitive Flavor: While the pancakes are nice, the taste can become a bit monotonous and sickly if eaten every day. I find they work better as an occasional treat rather than a daily staple. I've had many protein pancakes before and they usually taste like cardboard, but this brand tastes so good. They actually come out fluffy and delicious and dont have that cardboardy type feel to them. Highly recommended.

taste very nice, extremely filling and texture of just any normal pancake but thicker usually however the choclate chips usually get stuck at the bottom so the last pancake usually has a lot but that might just be a me problem
