Flats: Technical Drawing for Fashion, second edition: A Complete Guide

I'm so used to illustrating style drawing my designs, this is teaching me to draw flats for the production end of the process.

Great book to have when learning technical flats.

This book is great for learning the correct way to illustrate "flats" by hand. It's a good foundation to technical drawing.

A great reference for what a specific flat should look like, but it does not teach you how to draw a flat. There is a basic flat guide in the beginning, but the rest of the book is like a search engine for what a certain flat should look like i.e double breasted coat, mermaid skirt, racerback tank.

This was required for my fashion technology class. It helps with most flats.

This book is all about how to make the clothing sketches look correct. I had hoped for some guidance on pattern layouts, but this book only covers designers sketches and nothing about how to create patterns, scale, or draping.
