The craftsmanship and design of this Bible were unparalleled, making this a cherished find.The premium leather cover and binding were custom crafted with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a distinct and unique appearance. The leather had a genuine feel to it, and the color and texture were carefully chosen, giving the Bible an extremely premium look.Upon opening the Bible, the interior pages greeted me with a burst of color. The vibrancy of the illustrations and design elements added a new dimension to the reading experience. The layout was thoughtfully executed, making it easy to navigate.Reading from this Bible was a delight. The text was easy to read, and with a font that struck the perfect balance between elegance and legibility.This Bible was a true masterpiece. Its premium leather cover, colorful interior pages, and overall elegant design made it absolute delight to read. It's durability was nothing short of excellent.

Be aware the leather is a lighter brown than the picture on the product page. Although over time and with use this should turn a much richer brown like most leather. There is an elastic loop inside to hold a pen. You can fit a pen and a pencil in it but it would likely stretch the elastic over time. There is an introduction for each chapter with key themes, maps, profiles of the characters, some "Did you know?" trivia type sections, and study notes at the bottom of the pages. This has what I consider a standard font size, older folks will likely need their readers. The strap comes wrapped in plastic and has instructions for attaching it. I think you can really attach the strap in you own creative way though. I think I may trim mine a bit.This is a bit bigger than a standard KJV "hotel" bible. For reference I took a picture of the two side by side. It also is much heavier than that type of bible.This would make a really great gift for someone, especially for a younger person due to the font size and weight.

PROS:The Bible itself is the best version I’ve seen. I love all of the cross-references, maps & illustrations, did you knows, and study notes. Well done!I really enjoyed the True Tone coloring and the size as well.CONS:The “leather” journal aspect is of really poor quality. I’ve see older versions in which the manufacturer used a higher quality grain of leather. If the material on this Bible is genuine leather, it’s. The lowest quality leather available and that’s stating a lot since bonded leather is the bottom rung.Quality of leather aside is the poor quality control in packaging these Bibles up for distribution. I now have TWO of the &90. version and I am returning both of them.As seen in my photo, I purchased the exact same Student Bible in True Tone but without the journaling cover. It has the exact same inners as this journaling study Bible, but at a fraction of the cost. I paid $22. and am rebinding the cover with a Veg-tanned tooling leather that I bought right here on Amazon for $29. Vellum paper was $3., burlap sheets were $1.00 each, camel-colored leather sheet was $5.00, crafting glue was laying around the house, & leather cordage in veg-tanned was only $5.00 which will be used as page dividers after I dye (with markers), cut and glue to the binder.I added a few extras that could easily be omitted to lessen cost; but that’s the best part. You get to customize your Bible to be as unique as your fingerprint. That seemed befitting for such a gift as our Creator’s Word!If I want to further customize this journal, I can dye the leather whatever color I want. I can carve into it, stamp my name on it, or leave it natural to watch the years collect on it from many wonderful moments spent with Our Lord.Enjoy!
