Biatain Silicone Foam Adhesive Dressing 7.5x7.5cm Pack of 10

It is very good for not ripping the skin on removal, as I have very thin skin and a lot of dressings I cannot use where as the Biatain foam dressing is excellent.

I’ve tried so many brands and these = Exceptional!

Product is excellent. BUT... Be aware the "pack" consists of ONE, yes ONE, dressing. Not 5 or ten, but ONE dressing. At the price it is extremely bad value. Other suppliers are much, much cheaper.

These are not cheap, but they work very well. Good padding and waterproof. In my experience can be left in place for several months without loosing adhesion or causing any skin reaction. Of course there are cheaper alternatives to cover a small cut for a couple of days.

Good product . I have very thin skin and ordinary dressings are difficult to remove without damaging my skin so these dressingsites are good for me to keep in my medical box just in case .I've used them on leg ulcers too .good value .would recommend

I managed to briefly catch my hand in the flame of a blowtorch, leading to a small but painful burn. While rubbing the site gently under a running cold tap, a small area of skin came away (where, presumably, a blister was about to form), and luckily I had one of these dressings left over from a previous incident. Easy to apply, that dressing did brilliantly for the first 24 hours, while I waited for Amazon to deliver me a further box of them. The box itself arrived promptly, in perfect condition, and sealed at both ends with a security label, giving me complete confidence that the contents had not been tampered with. So impressed both with the product itself, and the superb packing and delivery. Five Stars. Oh - and my hand is much better now, after about 5 days of TLC! :-)

.. I had a very painful and large ulcer on my inner thigh and had one of these in my Medical Box but in the 12 x 12 cm size. It was brilliant and the large silicone centre was very comfortable. However, I needed to change it after a few days and I just couldn’t justify the mega price of replacing with the same size. Especially as I would probably only need two max. And so I bought this 7.5 x 7.5 cm size as I thought they would suit as the inflammation and size of the ulcer had considerably reduced. Bad buy. The pad was fine (albeit not as thick as in the larger pad) but there was very little adherence to the edging. It lasted about half-an-hour before I had to change it because all the sides had rolled up and it was hanging to me like a thread. I had to replace with lint and bandaging. I think they would work okay in ‘static’ body locations (shoulder/arm/back) but not where there is likely to be any kind of friction from skin or clothes. No doubt the remaining pads will gradually be used over the coming decade or two. But, as I said, disappointing for my usage. .
