When people say clear coat with this product does this mean I need to put a clear coat on first or after I've sprayed this this is for the Z tune

When painting you will need to paint in 3 distinct stages : 1)priming (this provides something for paint to grab to and an even base colour, just get a grey plastic primer or something) apply evenly in 3 or so layers and allow each layer to dry before applying another. 2)colour coat (this is this product) apply 3 or 4 layers of this paint and again leave ample time for each layer to dry 3) you WILL need a gloss clear coat , without doing this the paint will appear dull and will cause the decals to peel off if you don't apply a clear coat over them. Let the colour coat dry for at least a day to let it de gas and then apply 4 or 5 layers of clear coat . I suggest you watch a few YouTube videos before hand to ensure you know what to do.
