After my last power bank was "borrowed" by the hubby I've not seen it again so I got this fantastic solar powered one. It's a nice solid size with a long lasting battery. Whilst this is a solar power charger, it also charges the usual way at home via the USB lead. Being winter, I've not charged it with the large solar panels but the whole idea of being able to charge it that way is ideal for when your off camping, long walks etc..just by attaching it to your bag whilst out and about the light will be keeping it charged up so you will be able to use any of your devices whilst away. Being disabled, this is perfect for me to keep in my handbag - I can just attach this to my phone when it runs out and I feel a lot more relaxed in the knowledge I can get help if I need it. I like that this has 2 USB ports which enables 2 devices to be charged at the same time. This power bank also has a led light on it as well, just press the button for 3 seconds and it'll come on. It's really quite bright and definitely a great idea if your away camping or need to use a light if your out and about with the dogs etc. Being such a big battery, this will charge your device numerous times before it needs to be recharged itself. It comes with a USB lead and a nice carry pouch to pop it in so keeps it from getting knocked or scratched. This is a really great power charger and most definitely worth paying that little bit more for.

I recieved this charger promptly and was pleasantly surprised to see it packaged really well, as if it were a much more expensive item. After using it for around a week I’ve found that I can suitably charge my phone and also my e cig at the same time to full capacity off one charge of the power bank. The solar capacity is an added bonus though takes time to add charge. My review is of four stars mainly as this item takes a long while to charge and also the instructions aren’t as clear as they could be. Other than that, at the price point, it’s a good charger and I generally can’t really fault it.

I was looking for a power bank that packed more capacity than the lower mHa ones, which in my opinion were only useful for one charge of your phone or tablet, before they themselves needed recharging. This Moniko packs a whopping 25000 mHa which should give at least 3 full phone charges, but the beauty of it, is that it will charge itself via the 24 mini solar panels affixed to the front. It will charge off the usual U.K. daylight - you don't need brilliant sunshine, so is an ideal accessory for outdoor events and festivals - no more worries of running our of charging power. You are also able to charge two devices at the same time, and should solar charging for the power bank is unavailable then you can still charge it via the conventional usb port on the front edge of the unit. It is supplied with a drawstring carry pouch,a usb lead and an instruction pamphlet. This power bank is certainly larger and heavier than the less powerful ones available, but it's simply the price to be paid for a powerbank that will last far longer than those less powerful ones. There is also a built in led light which means the unit can be used as a torch. I've been using this powerbankk for five days, and from one full charge I have charged mu iPad from 40% to 100% once, and my S7 from 15% back to 100% twice, and the led indicators on the front of the powerbank are still showing 60% - so for me, impressive.

Outstanding quality, and charges in hardly any light. I charge multiple items at once as it's capacity is huge. Very well packaged ,comes with lead and lush carry bag. Very pleased with the quality , performance and price.
