I followed the directions for manual set-up and was delighted to find that everything went as directed. Installing the printer heads was a little fiddly but they went in after some gentle trial and error.After filling the ink reservoirs, I noticed the warning light flashing. I restarted the printer, hoping that things would sort themselves out, but the light kept flashing. It turned out that this was the printer warning of a print head problem. Print head installation was next on the list of directions, and once they were in place everything was fine.So far, all the pages I've printed have been of great quality and with no hiccups in the printing process.I was relieved to find that you could set up the printer without using the HP app or having to create an account. The printer also connects to computers with a traditional USB A to B lead, if you don't want to go down the wireless route.Using the printer with Linux proved to be straightforward and even a pleasant experience, which is not always the case.I'll be interested to see how things are going in a year or two, but so far I'm very happy with the purchase!

Very easy set up and very good quality prints, not fast but good for home use.The ink tanks are so easy and clean to fill. I have printed quite a lot since setting up and I can’t see a drop in ink levels so very happy.With a lot of ink supplied it’s very good value.

Awful device! Would not recommend at all. In all my years of using printers this has to be the worst I have ever experienced. One star because the quality of print is ok (and I don't think I can give less than one). Other than that, the functionality is ridiculous. Having to re-feed the paper if you want double-sided is awful. Whilst this occurs you cannot use your laptop because the pop-up (if you close the pop up then it will just print the other pages on new sheets, assuming you've fed the other ones through again). I have wasted nearly a whole ream of paper due to this feature being so clunky.It jams regularly despite using quality paper. Drags through multiple pages at times. Feeding paper into it is hit and miss.Set up was OK, if I remember correctly, but this could have just been overshadowed by the pile of wasted paper I've created by using this product.Overall clunky to use and not efficient when printing both sides.

Very decent printer - fits well and looks good. Installation was pretty tricky - you need to do it via your phone! I miss the days when you could just plug a printer in, connect it to your computer and hey presto, you had a printer! Now it all seems to be managed by apps in cyberspace - sigh. That said, once you get this working, it's a decent device.

I am really impressed with this printer. The build and quality are both good and finally, I can buy bottles of original ink at a reasonable price! Only one slight complaint and that is the flimsey, and off centre, paper support but that seems to be nit picking!

We are very pleased with HP smart tank printer. Set up was relatively straight forward as setting up a new printer goes. Filling the printer ink was cleaver design. We have been printing and are happy with the prints.

Printer is great and we are getting plenty of pages for the ink we are using. Much cheaper than cartridge printers! Print quality is also reasonable. Big issue is the software / connection. Half the time windows/android cant see the printer, even though its on and connected. Sometimes one device can see it but another cant. Also sending documents to the printer from Android often results in printing starting then printing 1/2 a page then an error. but then you reprint immediately and it prints everything fine. The setup using HP software was also hit and miss; again with the printer not being found numerous times during the process. HP need to sort out the software then this would be a great package.

Imprimante HP Smart Tank 5105 achetée 169 EUR et reçue ce matin 27/08/2024 dans les temps annoncés, pour usages personnels et professionnels (télétravail), en remplacement d'une vieille Canon Pixma. Fonctionne pour l'instant très bien (comptez sur moi pour corriger ma note et mon commentaires si des problèmes apparaissent !). Emballage effectivement transparent (on voit ce que vous recevez...) mais très soigneux notamment pour déballer les différentes composantes (j'ai particulièrement apprécié le sac plastique à tirer pour sortir l'engin de ses polystyrènes sans tout massacrer ou faire tomber la chose sur le carrelage...). Curieusement, deux cordons l'alimentation sont fournis (pour prises européennes et prises américaines...) mais pas de cordon pour une éventuelle impression filaire (mais c'était annoncé, donc pas d'arnaque ici...). J'ai procédé à la mise en route en suivant les instructions du livret fourni (très bien fait et clair, en diverses langues dont le français) et terminé comme indiqué avec l'application HP Smart pour la connexion en wifi (l'ouverture d'un compte HP n'est pas imposé même si je l'ai fait, notamment pour sécuriser la garantie, mettre aussi et peut-être plus facilement à jour le micro-logiciel de l'imprimante, dernière opération qui s'est aussi très bien passée). Une fois l'imprimante connectée à mon réseau wifi via l'appli HP Smart installée sur mon PC (Windows 11), cette dernière est reconnue par les autres appareils connectés au wifi (iPhone, iPad...), et c'est magique ensuite d'imprimer sans fils de partout ! Je ne trouve pas l'impression bruyante pour une jet d'encre, et si le modèle n'est effectivement pas ultra rapide pour les impressions ou numérisations, ce n'est pas non plus lent et reste totalement dans la norme de ce que je connais, tout comme la qualité des impressions et des numérisations. L'encre se met très simplement et proprement dans les 4 réservoirs (via un judicieux système...) et permettra de réduire considérablement les monstrueux coûts financiers et écologiques des systèmes à cartouches : c'est ce qui motivé mon achat (plutôt qu'une imprimante à 50 EUR dont le prix en réalité explose avec les consommables), en plus du design sobre et élégant de cette HP Smart Tank 5105 par ailleurs légère en poids. Bref, un bel objet industriel qui permet d'imprimer ou numériser à la maison, en qualité, à bas coût et sans fil, des documents, rapports ou photos : c'est formidable non ? (un progrès technologique dont beaucoup ne se rendent même plus compte...). Seul reproche pour l'instant : un bac d'alimentation en feuilles (à l'arrière) trop petit à mon goût (on ne peut assurément pas mettre une rame de papier entière, mais plutôt un dixième...).

Ho acquistato la stampante Smart Tank 5105 per sostituire una vecchia stampante laser jet con cartucce a colori molto costosa nel mantenimento e con continui problemi di stampa.Devo dire che il passaggio è stato davvero un altro mondo! La configurazione è stata facilissima: in meno di 5 minuti, tramite l’app dedicata HP, era già pronta all’uso.Il sistema a serbatoi da riempire con le bottiglie di inchiostro è comodissimo e permette un grande risparmio rispetto alle cartucce tradizionali, fino a 3 anni di stampa con un utilizzo medio.Si collega subito al Wi-Fi e stampa perfettamente da qualsiasi dispositivo (tablet, cellulare, pc).Si può stampare direttamente dall’app HP, che funziona davvero benissimo ed è intuitiva sia tramite AirPrint sui dispositivi Apple senza dover installare nulla.La qualità di stampa è ottima, sia per documenti che per immagini a colori: ho stampato persino i biglietti di auguri di Natale.È silenziosa, veloce e molto pratica nell’uso quotidiano, dalla stampa dei documenti, ai compiti, a piccoli lavoretti per i bambini e stampa di immagini.Segnalo inoltre che lo scanner integrato ha poi una funzione specifica molto utile di copia del documento di identità.Occupa poco spazio ed il controllo dei livelli di inchiostro è semplice ed immediato. Per ora sono molto soddisfatta, un acquisto che rifarei senza dubbio.

Me encata, no tengo problema para imprimir cartulinas de hasta 300gr.Era lo que buscaba y despues de tanto investigar hice una buena elección.No gasta casi nada las tintas es mas económica que las smart tack 7306, yo imprimo mucho y aún no han bajado los niveles de tinta.La súper recominedo por rendimiento y calidad de impresión, también tiene la función de escanner y fotocopias.El papel normal lo imprime súper rápido, dependiendo del tipo de papel, color y calidad puede tardar un poco mas pero no me hace problema.
