This par meter is perfect. I was struggling with my plants for weeks and now have my let's tuned in so much better. My plants are exploding! I would highly recommend. Cannabis grower.

it turns on everytime and seems to be decently built but it’s accuracy is way off. it ready about 100 Umols low. it caused some of my leaf tips to burn a bit from too much light. the app on my phone was way more accurate. before i compared them i turned my mars hydro light to 50% and did a reading from 24 inch down dead center and the par meter only read like 380-400 and mars hydro has the light listed at 500 UMOL at that hanging height and percentage turned up. I used my phone and the led par meter app and put the diffuser on and everything and i tested it and it came out right on 500 exactly. and every 10% i turned the light up the par meter app matched it accurately. THE PAR METER DID NOT!! It was consistently 100 umol lower. so beware that just because it turns on and works, it doesn’t mean it works accurately.

For what I paid I would have hoped for better materials. Feels wildly cheap and I’m not tough to please in that area. Personally I think the thing should cost around $40. Plus the PAR thing is nonsense regardless of what you read. There are calculations to convert lux into par. Yes yes I know it’s not “an EXACT” conversion however it’s so close it’s downright immaterial. I should know. I tested a luxometer with this meter and again using the luxometer and doing the simple math I was in like 2% of the PAR number. I ran like 20 comparisons between indoor lighting and outdoor. Again the conversion gets you well close to where you need to be. Look for all I know this is just a luxometer that is running the conversion math and displaying it as a PAR value (my guess is that it is). Again I’m a science guy. I know you’ll read all kind of things on the internet above PAR. But again it’s just a unit of measure. One you can arrive at with close precision just by converting lux. So luxometer are like 1/2 to 1/3 the price. Do what you will.

What a game changer. Does exactly like it's supposed to.. best money I've spent on plants..

All I can say is wow your definitely getting you bang for your buck here I ordered one a few months back and use it regularly it's a chargeable unit which is awesome no batteries to buy and it's right on the money with the par reading and their customer service and support is out of this world best I've delt with yet so do yourself a fave and buy it don't go spend hundreds when you can get this one for less believe me your going to be happy for sure I can't say enough good this about this product and company they have a customer for life with me.
