Could someone please tell me the thickness of the ruler?

I measured the thickness with a 0-1 Moore & Wright micrometer and it is 0.031 ", which is exactly 1/32" thick steel. Its not metric plate but would be just under 1mm thick.

Can you tell me if the 30cm ruler is 25mm wide?
