To begin with I love the size of the sheets and they are very soft. A little thinner maybe than I was expecting, but not too bad. The only issue I have is this black fuzzy stuff came off of the sheets and was everywhere in the room! I mean from the floor to the ceiling, EVERYTHING in the room was covered in this fine black coating of fabric dust after removing the sheets from the plastic. I am hoping a good washing takes care of it, but I just don’t understand what that was and if it’s normal. If it were not for this issue, they would receive five stars from me. I will update this review if they continue to shed fabric dust.

This was a huge project but these worked fantastic!! My daughter got married on a tree lined gravel road and I had to come up with a good aisle runner idea and that would be long enough. We sewed 12 of these sheets end to end and they were the perfect aisle runner.

Like many of the reviewers, I did not buy these to sleep on. I purchased them to make covers for my dog beds, so that I can change the "top sheet" out often and leave the base cover on for a long period of time. If you need a large amount of fabric for something like that, or curtains, a spread for picnics, etc. this is a very, very good value. It is much cheaper than buying fabric by the yard. The way they are sewn together is sturdy, but they are more utilitarian and not finely finished. Of course you wouldn't expect that for something in this price range. Personally, I would never use these as sheets on a bed because they are made of polyester and they feel like it. They are soft, but they have that polyester feel, that I find unpleasant. I much prefer natural fibers like cotton, linen, or silk for sheets. I like that you could buy several of the top sheets, rather than having to purchase sets that included a bottom sheet, which are much more difficult to cut if you are using them for a project, and you loose some of your square footage due to the corners. I would definitely purchase these again if I needed large amounts of fabric for something that didn't require a finer fabric.

I do like these flat sheets very much. Great for my purpose. I use them on top of my bed, as another reviewer mentioned, to control pet hair.
