IRIS USA 4-Pack 72 Quart Storage Bins with Lids, Clear

Ive bought these in the past and needed more. I ordered them, they came fast but when I opened them 3 of the 6 lids were busted pretty bad. I contacted IRIS and they are sending me replacement lids. EXCELLENT customer service. These bins are just the right size, not big and heavy, not too small. Im using them to store DVDs, etc. Highly recommend this company. Will use again.

These storage boxes have been perfect for my daughter’s dorm room! They’re sturdy, spacious, and fit nicely in her closet and under the bed, making it easy to keep everything organized. They hold clothes, extra bedding, shoes, and other dorm essentials without taking up too much space. The only minor downside is that they can sag a little if overloaded with heavier items, but they’ve held up really well for everyday storage. Overall, they’re a great value and have helped keep her dorm neat and organized. I’d definitely recommend them for any college student!

I think these are great as long as you have realistic expectations. I'm using these to organize a bunch of things that were loose in my closet. I have a bin for travel toiletries, a bin for various medicines, and one for accessories like winter gloves. I have two that store rarely used neckties, and one for CPAP accessories. They're not going to be kicked around, shoved in tight spaces, or otherwise see a lot of rough use. I'm not storing anything heavy in them. I wouldn't fill one full of batteries or rolls of coins, for instance. No, the latches aren't very strong and the plastic won't endure a lot of abuse. Sure, you could buy more robust and wear resistant containers, but they're perfectly adequate for what I'm using them for. The dimensions were a large part of my decision to buy them because they efficiently fill the space I have for them. I like that the nesting portion of the lid doesn't take up any interior space below the top of the bin. For my use case, they're perfect, and I'm going to order more. Being made domestically (of global components) is a nice bonus. It's pretty rare to find plastic things made here.

The handles are very cheap. They will fall off easily. I gave the item 4 stars because the storage bins do serve their purpose, just beware of the quality.

I ordered these along with several other items all to be delivered on Thursday. Then Amazon split my order, and had this (and one other of my items) postponed to be delivered 2 days later/Saturday. I have porch pirates where I live, so that is why I always sit and watch out my window until they arrive, when I have deliveries scheduled, so I can intercept them immediately. Saturday came and went... and then I was informed that my package was rescheduled for the following day/Sunday. The delivery arrived by Amazon, and on time with a very friendly delivery person. The shipping box was completely intact. Nothing else was shipped inside this same shipping box. But when I opened it, there were many broken plastic pieces. 4 of the 8 handles were also loose at the bottom of the shipping box. Only one of the storage boxes came undamaged--the rest all have cracked plastic and pieces broken off, and one of the handles simply will not reattach from this damage. I will still be able to functionally USE them all, for the purposes that I purchased them, but $70 is a lot of money to spend on damaged goods. If these storage boxes are so fragile and delicate, they really need to be shipped better and with more care. I NEED them, and NOW... so will not be returning or fighting for a refund. Time will tell if they withstand then purpose I bought them for (mostly clothing and other soft or light item storage, so most likely will be okay). Disappointing. If not for the damages, my initial impression is favorable: they are attractive, lightweight, and large enough for my needs. They also appear to stack really well. Just, Buyer: Be Aware. These might not be appropriate for certain storage use--I doubt they would be suitable for anything heavy or rugged use.

They stack well. They lock well. They have ample space. So in winter, after the panemic hit and now I'm full remote, I have this portable nest thing going on where I keep all my in progress crafts, hobby supplies, my phone, kindle, and notebook, everything I need during the day in a single container, and then just set it up wherever I'm nesting, be it at my desk, the kitchen table, or the couch snuggled under a slanket. I open the container, and my nest is ready for me. This is perfect for that. It's enough storage for just about any craft project shy of weaving I have going on. I've squished entire blankets in there and I don't do those measely 48 inch blanets that have come in to vogue of late. Seriously, when did the knitting and crochet community get taken over by Hobbits? I've got a full 72" x 45" crochet blanket mashed with a skein of yarn and a hook in one of these waiting for me to have time to crochet the border. That's about as much as it can take, and the lid buldges, but it works. I can't imagine working a larger project than that, so I'm good with it.

I have an enormous yarn inventory project underway and my go-to ten gallon totes by SC Johnson are no longer made. I’ve tried just about every ten gallon container possible and these are the best of the lot. I love that they are clear and stackable. They are just the right size for me to be able to carry filled with yarn. It’s a size that isn’t widely available. The 6 pack is a great bargain for containers of this quality. I also live Iris’ 44 quart containers but they are a lit more expensive. For my task at hand, these are perfect. If you have relatively light weight things to store, these are ideal.

I purchased a four pack of these tubs. The package was not damaged upon receiving it. The box says "handle with care" "do not drop" "fragile". Once opened, one of the handles on one side was broken and could not be reattached and the small brads that snap on to hold it in place was broken off. Because it is only one lock attachment on one side, it is more trouble than it's worth to send all four tubs back. It is just disappointing with as much stuff that is purchased online these days they cannot just send you a handle to replace the broken one. The tubs are nice and will work for what I need, but it appears that the lock lid latch breaks easily which makes the tub useless if you need a top.

I received the storage containers damaged. Only one was in a good condition out of 6.

I don’t know if it’s a bonus feature or something, but the handles do not stay attached. The design looked great in theory, but I’m already dreading needing any items I’ve stored in these containers because I know I’ll be fighting to get the handles back on again.

These are the perfect size for tope shelf in closet. Not too big to lift and move around but still a good size for storage. Would recommend

Strong and sturdy! I use these to sort and store craft materials for the various units I teach as a sewing/design teacher. These stack neatly and I’ve had no trouble with the sides bowing, though I haven’t overloaded them. The wheels on the bottom are very handy as they make the bins much easier to maneuver in and out of shelves and cupboards. The lids ‘lock’ securely with clips on the side that are easy to manage, even when my hands are aching. The only problem I’ve had is one wheel popping off, but it was easily reattached. I’ll be buying these again when the need arises!
