If these are fsa/hsa approved, why are they listed that way on amazon?

Nampons are FSA/HSA approved. Also, some insurance companies also cover the cost for Nampons™ if you submit for reimbursement. The CPT code to provide is CPT/HCPCS code to provide is 30901. The reason Amazon doesn't show it is due to an issue with how Amazon and the service that handles FSA/HSA approval (sigis.org) talk to each other. We are working with them both to try to get this resolved.

Does this contain kaolin?

Hi. No it does not, as there can be complications from kaolin. Nampons contain micro-oxidized cellulose, which is a hypoallergenic clotting agent used since the 1950s for mild to moderate bleeding.

I'm flying out this mth and i get gushers that last 2 hours. i'm scared to death! will these work for such bad bloody noses? and can i open a few bef?

I used to get 2 hour nosebleeds and this product does cut down on the length of these bleeds. BUT it may still take 2 to 4 of the Nampons to control it. I can usually get it stopped within 20 minutes with this product. I am having trouble sourcing the Nampons now and am experimenting with other brands. Others work as well. Opening the sealed package ahead of time reduces the effectiveness of the sticks. But I do open an internal package and then seal it in a Ziplock bag.

Are these good indefinitely, or is there an expiration date?

Nampons will remain sterile and effective in their packaging for three years from date of manufacture. Expiration date information is provided on the bottom of each box.
