I needed shells for cooking. I had to produce a gourmet feast, and I wanted to do coquilles St. Jacques using Atlantic scallops. These were phenomenally good. They arrived in record time even though they shipped from Ireland to California, and were packaged well enough that they were all perfect upon arrival. They are beautiful, and large enough not to be overpowered by the size of the scallops I was using. These are a wonderful addition to my pantry. They are going to see a lot of use into the future.

Just used them for the first time for crab imperial. After use very easy to clean in dishwasher

These are REALLY pretty. Nice and sturdy. I might note however that they are not all white. In my package one had a lot of orange to it, and another one had a lot of brown to it. I used them to make nightlights and they turned out beautifully. The price was good and the product was good- so all around I would give it 5 stars and I will buy again.

Love these shells! I had looked for quite a while before deciding on these shells. They were of very good quality and very durable. We use them to make Coquilles st Jacques and the presentation in these shells is outstanding. The only reason for the 4 stars is the packaging was awful. They were shipped in a padded envelope. Thankfully none were broken.

First saw these in Paris when I ordered scallops aka coquilles St Jacques. It’s one of my signature dishes now and serving them on these shells always brings a smile. They’re easy to wash up after dinner. Good chefs know that presentation is to cooking what location is to real estate.

Wanted to make my Mom's classic stuffed clams so I needed some baking shells for the mixture. She made them by steaming the fresh clams and then cleaning the clam shells and stuffing them. Realistically, most of us don't have time to follow that lengthy process. These shells are perfectly sized for a standard batch of stuffed clam mixture and yes, they are scallop shells (not clam) but they are beautiful compared to clam shells. Baked my clam mixture perfectly and easy to clean if you spray them with a little no stick spray before filling. Note, bought three (3) sets of these shells to have a dozen for filling and baking. Because the next best thing to a fresh stuffed clam is leftovers from the freezer! Yup, wrap them up in foil, put them in a plastic bag, and voila, stuffed clam whenever you want one. Yummy.

I used these shells to make trinket dishes as gifts. I purchased 3 packs. Only two shells out of 12 had a small chip. I would highly recommend them for a craft.
