These are my first ECCO shoes. I found the size 8 a good fit for me. Feel good quality.

Comfortable and durable
A sturdy, comfortable and reasonably stylish walking shoe, I would certainly recommend as I have bought at least 6 pairs, and I have the boots too. I do a heck of a lot of hiking and would be the first to admit that I don’t take very good care of my shoes, but a pair will last me a good 12 months, and that represents at least 3,000 miles of walking. I have knocked a point off because almost every pair I have owned has had an issue with stitching on the top of the shoe. As previously mentioned, I am not that kind to my shoes and they get a lot of wear. Suffice to say, I am a multiple repeat buyer. They are good shoes.

Brilliant,i only use ecco.,i would not purchase any other .my old boots i put on meindl sport wax, they look much better. I am seaking something put on with a cloth. As i did with the meindl i would like something like that to use a cloth to put on cream this colour,bison.can anyone advice where i can get the cream

Good all around, all-weather shoe.
I've read lots of reviews that claim that Ecco shoes are not nearly as well made as they used to be. This may be the case. But I just bought some Ecco Track 25's and I'm very happy with them. It's my understanding that they are an update from the Track II's which I have owned before. The back of the shoe comes up a bit higher than the Track Ii, so I feel that part on the upper part of my ankle a bit more than on the Track II. It's a bit uncomfortable, but I presume it will soften up as they break in. I believe it has a bit more cushion in the sole than the Track II's which I like. I've been suffering from some achilles tendon inflammation/pain, and the pain is notably diminished when wearing these shoes which I'm thrilled about. As with the Track II's, I like the combination of the casual look and the rugged construction which makes them good for walking, hiking, hot, cold, and they're waterproof. I like the lace design - they tighten easily. Kind of everything I want in a shoe. Not great if you've got a wide foot.
