Having bought two other Wii to HDMI convertors that didn't work (the ones that plug into the Wii video socket), this one worked first time with my 2008 Wii Console. On first connection the picture quality wasn't great but switching between the 1080 and 720 modes a couple of times massively improved the quality and it's now really good and stable. Setting the Wii output to 576i also helped. The device is now tucked away behind the Wii console out of site. I used one of the rear USB sockets on the Wii to provide the power to the convertor box. We are now happily playing Baseball in Wii Sports.

Solid unit and working for occasions use over the last few months fine . Does as well as expected given the old resolution for old Wii. And an old PS2.

This adapter has been brilliant for converting old memory tapes to a computer, and it also works well for the PS2, though the 1080p picture quality is not the best but at least there's a 720p mode

Works fab, no issues with quality and we have a Sky glass tv. Sound and pic great, taken back to my youth 😁 great value too. Just be advised that it requires power so it needs to be plugged in by usb (cable provided) so lots of plugs on the go but I don’t mind that.

I couldn't believe it, as if there's a product that allows you to connect old games consoles to your new TV! I can't thank Amazon enough for selling this!! Thanks and I'm actually loving it! Great connection with the usbc! Allows it run it's power from the TVs usb port or plug if desired. Easy to install. Recommend 5stars.

if you are buying this to display an N64, don't bother, the screen shake makes you want to vomit, it works ok for a gamecube though, i got this as a cheap way to display my consoles while waiting for retrotink stock, it works i suppose just don't expect the upscaling to be useful as it says 720p/1080p but it stretches the image and doesn't really upscale, this is my use case with it for others it might vary but for the price, it works ok enough.

Quite surprised with this for the price (£7.99 at time of purchase) it's actually made of metal not some cheap plastic and feels quite substantial, it has 2 modes 720p and 1080p although when running my ps2 through it i couldn't see much difference in picture quality between the 2 modes - however I would say in terms of "upscaling" the image was clearer than using just the rca cables on my TV so whilst not a super sharp hi definition image I would say it was definitely an improvement in picture quality blacks seemed a bit darker and colours slightly sharper and didnt seem to have any image lag or sound delays (the cut scenes on the game were all synced and DVD playback was also good) - to be fair at this price I was expecting it be poorer quality all in so pleasently surprised - main reason for purchasing was due to a new room layout and needed a way to quickly switch between the Wii and PS2 without having cables stretched across the wall this device allowed me to attach 1 x 4m long HDMI to the TV and just change the RCA cables inside the cabinet given the cost of the alternative console dedicated cables this was a good choice and it also will allow me to hook up other old bits of tech if I need too such as a camcorder or other retro consoles with RCA connection good option for those looking to play older consoles e.t.c on a modern TV

It does the job with the PS2 and PS1. Not tried it yet with a Wii. Picture acceptable for the money.

De adapter werkt goed voor mijn GameCube en met mijn wat oudere tv (ik geloof dat deze HDMi 1.4 poorten heeft, dus ik kan niets zeggen over hoe het werkt met HDMi 2.0 of -2.1 werkt. Je moet er wel voor zorgen dat je de adapter voldoende stroom geeft, zodat hij goed werkt. Je hebt daarvoor een stekkerblokje van 5V nodig. Helaas wordt die niet meegeleverd bij het product; ik zou graag een paar euro meer hebben betaald, zodat ik een passend stekkerblokje erbij zou krijgen. Aan de andere kant: iedereen heeft tegenwoordig genoeg USB-stekkerblokjes in huis, dus waarschijnlijk vind je wel een passende. Een ander klein minpuntje vind ik dat het USB-C kabeltje dat je erbij krijgt, wat aan de korte kant is. Maar goed: het product doet wat het adverteert en ik ben blij dat ik mijn oude console weer kan aanstluiten op moderne televisies.
