Friction Her 100ml EDP Spray

This is my daughter's favourite perfume. Good price, product arrived quickly, and is as advertised.

It’s summertime, and you’re young but not a teenager. You’re the passenger driving along a coastal road in a convertible with your best friend. The top’s down and you’ve got a (non-alcoholic) fruity drink in your hand. The ice is making the glass sweat. Your sunglasses are on, the car still smells vaguely new, and you’re wearing lots of sunscreen. You’re eating a really good quality vanilla ice cream. That’s what this perfume smells like. I fell in love with this one on my first spray. Few perfumes last a long time on my skin, so I do three spritzes on my cardigan and I find it has reasonable longevity that way. For this cost, I don’t have an issue reapplying, I just wish it lasted at full strength for longer because of how much I love it, but the way it softens down makes met think of relaxed, warm summer evenings of the kind when you’re fully aware of the moment you’re living in. I don’t really feel that I’m young enough to wear those exceptionally bright, young, juvenile perfumes any more as they don’t suit me now, but nor am I old enough to carry off those heavier scents—I feel a bit like a kid who’s gotten into her grandmother’s Opium or Red Door when I try anything from the more sensual/sultry class of fragrances. This perfume manages to smell soft and warm and friendly but doesn’t veer towards childish. It can easily be worn to a professional workplace. It also has a complexity I wasn’t expecting when I opened my first bottle (it was a gift, and I probably wouldn’t have chosen it otherwise). However, to get the most from this perfume, I have a little tip: when you get the bottle, open it and spray it a few times, then pack it away for *at least* three months. It makes the smell creamier and it really brings out the layers of the fragrance. I find it quite sharp otherwise, and it lacks something. When bought a new bottle for myself and first smelled it, I was disappointed. It smelled different enough that I wondered if the formula had been changed. I decided to try the ‘spray and store’ method because I knew that the person who gifted me the perfume had owned the bottle for quite some time before I got it (she was clearing out her perfume stash) and it’s made it much closer to the original bottle (which was probably stored for several years before I got it). I love that this gets better with age, and to get a perfume for this price that develops over time is a real win for me. The bottle is also really pretty and looks great on my chest of drawers. If the scent lasted longer, and if from the first use, it smelled like it does after it’s been left for a while, it would be the perfect fragrance.

My favourite perfume is ghost. It's the most 'grown up' fragrance I wear as I tend to go for very sweet perfumes. For me this is like an in between of the two, which is brilliant. It's always nice when you brave a new smell and they end up smelling amazing! Vanilla, coconut, just gorgeous. Hopefully it has staying power too.

Love the smell.

I picked up a small bottle of this last summer and it was lovely. On me it smells like coconuts, ocean water and faintly salty. Just a nice warm summer scent.

FCUK Her ist mir als pudrig-sinnlicher Duft empfohlen worden und das ist er auch. Duft ist gut und anhaltend. Lediglich das obere Verschlusskappendesign ist ungünstig gemacht in der Funktion und scharfkantig. Daher Punktabzug.

Great scent, girlfriend loved it.

Delicious scent, just isn't as strong/long lasting as I'd like. But on the flip side, it's NOT overpowering. Perfect 'everyday', casual fragrance especially for the price!

... Then you will love this perfume. It literally smells like I just bathed myself in a tropical drink. Not in a bad way, necessarily, it just makes me want to dab a little rum behind my ears and complete the experience.
