Primarily bought it to sharpen a Globe Chefs knife and it worked great. Very easy to use and the adjustable angle of the sharpener makes it versatile to use with different types of knives.

Better than rolling sharpeners! Simple to adjust to the recommended angle, the Mitsumoto Sakari sharpener has put the sharpest of edges on my knives in just a few minutes and only 5 or 6 passes of the blades across the sharpener. I haven't thought about this type of sharpener, but it's high quality and works really well. You can adjust it just as needed and my Japanese knives can be sharpened very well with a 14 degree angle. Sharpening scissors is also easy and convenient
