Logan Arc Floor Lamp, Bright Standing Lamp for Living Rooms, Offices & Bedrooms, Modern Living Room Décor, Tall Hanging Floor Lamp for Reading and More – Black

This is a *heavy* lamp base. I have a hernia but I managed it okay. Still, be careful lifting it. The good part of that is that it's nice and stable even though I used a relatively heavy light bulb bulb. A lighter base wouldn't have worked for that. My place is practically a jungle with house plants. I needed another lamp to use as a grow light in my living room and this was a great choice in the end. I replaced the included LED light with a grow bulb and the combination of the big shade and the tall height gives a very nice light footprint. I wasn't prepared for how big or how much space it takes up. But being able to have the shade up high is very much needed for my space. I kind of groaned when I saw that I would have to assemble the shade but it was super simple, no instructions needed. The packaging was fine. For some reason Amazon chose USPS for the final delivery but there was no damage to the package or the parts even though it's a pretty heavy package. I have it connected to a smart plug so I won't have to mess with the floor switch. I'm not generally a fan of floor switches and that would have been a deal breaker except for how handy and cheap smart plugs are.

We moved into a house with a small living room and recessed ceiling lights. I really wanted a floor lamp to put in a corner to provide some light on the couch for reading. I looked everywhere. Other websites had arc lamps for upwards of $700, and I almost hit the buy button. Thankfully, I thought to check on Amazon first. There are a lot of arc lamps on here so this was my needs in a lamp: I needed a brass/gold pole, white lamp shade, and I needed it to not extend too far (I was looking for 45" in depth). I nearly bought another lamp when I saw this one. I liked that the pole stood straight up before it began its arc. If you're looking at other lamps, take notice of that. Maybe you don't mind that others begin arching immediately from the base but I did. I also like that this has an adjustable arc range so that when we eventually move out of this house and have some space in our living room, this lamp will still work. The black marble base is nice, though it's tucked under the couch so it's not really seen, I was impressed when I took it out of the box. Here's the one thing I would warn others of about this lamp: it is HEAVY. This of course is because of the needed base, but I don't know how anyone would be able to put it together by themselves. It took my husband holding the pole while I lifted the marble base to tighten the nut on the bottom of the base which secures the pole to the base. Maybe you could somehow lay it on its side and pray you don't whack something with the pole but I would just recommend having 2 people for assembly. As far as the instructions, they were super easy. If you've ever screwed up a piece of Ikea furniture, you can assemble this. The pole parts screw together, they go into the base and are fastened by a bolt/nut combo. For the shade, you just unroll the shade aspect of it (it's shipped in a roll with the wire frames separate), and then roll the top and bottom frame of the shade onto the shade where it clicks onto the frame. The light bulb it comes with was too bright for us, so we swapped it for a 40w warm white bulb which provided the perfect warm glow we were looking for. Overall, I'm very glad we found this lamp. It saved us a lot of money, it seems sturdy, and it looks great.

I purchased the Brightech Logan Floor Arc Lamp as I needed an arc lamp to extend over my chaise sofa for reading. Although I positioned the lamp shade over the end of my sofa to provide sufficient reading light, the direct glare from the exposed 60 watt bulb was annoying. I was disappointed as it was easy to assemble and the design and measurement specifications fit well with our living room decor. I researched lamp shade cover solutions and initally purchased a pre-cut 17 inch diameter acrylic diffuser from Amazon for $32.00 to fit inside the lamp shade and rest on the bottom lamp shade metal ring. Unfortunately it was an 1/8th inch too wide to fit, so I returned it. I then reached out to Brightech's Customer Experience Team and advised them of my situation. Although they prompt responded to my email, regrettably they did not have any ideas on where to purchase a diffuser other than the one I had already bought on Amazon. After contacting a couple of art and craft stores, I was referred to a plastic supplier, and had a custom 16.8 inch diameter 1/8 inch thick piece of acrylic cut which fit perfectly on top of the beige linen shade's bottom metal ring and comfortably diffuse the distracting glare by covering the exposed bulb. My next DIY purchase will be a dimmable Smart bulb available on Amazon for $9.99 controlled by Alexa or my Android cell phone. As I initially bought this Logan arc floor lamp for $124.00, and the custom cut acrylic diffuser was another $40.00, I've now paid $164.00, not including purchasing a dimmable Smart bulb for $10.00 dollars more, for a grand total of $174.00, plus my time researching vendors to determine customizations necessary to have a fully functioning dimmable and low glare floor lamp. Considering the quality of this product's materials, hopefully I'll be able to use this arc floor lamp a long time, and only need to replace the bulb when it burns out.

I can’t believe how nice this lamp is. Other buyers complain about a remote, but it was so simple to plug into an outlet remote. I can turn it off and on with this remote. I do the same with other hard to reach outlets. It’s just beautiful and I love it. So easy to put together. The shade is better than I thought and easy to assemble.

Excelente compra, super bonita la foto no le hace justicia. Buena calidad, me encantó la base de mármol, la lampara tiene buen tamaño es grande y la puedes ajustar, es muy fácil de armar. El foco que viene con ella es luz cálida/blanca, a mi me gusta más amarilla así que compré y le puse otro foco sin problema.

Have been looking for and wanting a lamp like this for a while now. Looked at a bunch of different ones online and in store. Great lamp for the price. Easy to put together and super sturdy. Looks expensive and gives off great light exactly where I wanted and needed. Definitely would buy again and recommend. Classy lamp 😍

This lamp took me about 20 mins to put together on my own! Super easy to assemble and move around. The black bottom piece is super stable to hold up the lamp, and the light gives great ambiance to our living room.
