Great little knife
Exactly as described. Blades are sharp and knife is fairly safe to use. Basic friction lock and perfect size to keep on a keychain. Came with additional blades so I won’t have to buy any extras for at least a short while. Great value for under $10

Worked well. Sharp. Sturdy.
Worked well. I used it to skin a deer head for a European mount. I wish it was a little bigger. But it was good enough.

Don't get too excited about this one
It's an okay little pocket item. The blade doesn't lock so whatever you do, be careful using it. If it folds on your fingers you're gonna have a bad day. The blades aren't super easy to change out but it does come with several so that's cool. I'd say you'd be better off buying a 20 dollar pocket knife and calling it good. Opening is a bit of a chore as it just has a slit to pull it open. The action is pretty easy I'll give them that. I saw an ad on Instagram for this knife or one just like it and I'll tell you right now it was oversold by a pretty good bit.

Slick little knife set
UPDATE: My mom still loves the scalpel kit and uses it daily. She also bought one for me. I've been using mine as a box cutter and craft knife for cardboard, which is bad for the blade yes, but - it can just be swapped out! That's the beauty of a scalpel - you can get a different blade shape or a brand new blade whenever you want. When you move on from one craft to another, the knife can move on with you. It'll never sit collecting dust because it can become just about whatever knife you need it to. I got this for my mom, who is a taxidermist. She wanted a folding scalpel so she could get better organized and have less blades lying around her table. Not only does this scalpel solve that problem, it comes with a metal case. So it's a complete kit - it has storage for everything. The scalpel is a friction lock, so it does not go totally rigid. If you press on the back of the blade, it will start to fold in. So it takes a bit more skill to use this knife, but you can also lean on it with your thumb. I think it would be a good whittling or carving knife. Overall, it's a good gift and it pulls its weight very well as an EDC item. Many people like making survival kits out of small tins, and this set here is a good start for a kit like that. It's very hard to do better than this for ten bucks.
