Playable for Mexican train dominoes or regular dominoes. The dominoes are significantly small which makes it harder to see the dots. Older people struggle due to eyesight.

These miniature domino tiles are easy to manage and are an improvement over the playing card set we have used on trips. A major improvement though would be more intense colors on the tiles as old eyes and evening light make numbers like the 3s and 4s very hard to see.

We were looking for a dominoes set that could easily travel with us. This is small - but lightweight, Perfect for our needs. We certainly prefer a standard set at home, but this will serve its intended purpose. The yellow dots are ridiculously faint and very hard to tell from a blank. We just took a sharpie to those dots to fix the problem. We haven't taken them on vacation yet but have played a game at home to see how we like them - and we do. If you buy these make sure the size is right for what you need.

These are VERY small but that's what made them appealing to me. We have taken them on a couple of drive trips and two cruises and had a blast playing when our group had down time. Onlookers were impressed with their small but handy size too. I made a very small "game bag" which was barely bigger than the box the dominoes came in, however I was able to fit multiple games in that bag in such a small space and used colored buttons for our train markers. It paid off in fun! So, why 4 stars rather than 5...well, a couple of issues... First, and most importantly, the dots are on a clear sticker that tends to smudge when they touch moisture (as shown in photo). Some colors seem to be more prone to that than others. They also get rub marks from being face down on the table...any table. By now the smudges are bad enough that I plan to wash them all, getting all the dots off and use colored sharpies to write numbers on them so we can continue to enjoy them when traveling. The backs don't smudge at all, so the stickers are the issue. Second, the 3's are yellow and very hard to see in low light. To the extent that they are often mistaken for the 0's. Third, they tip over a bit more easily due to being thinner than regulation dominoes. We haven't found any holders (like the wooden holders for full sized dominoes) that fit, but that would defeat the purpose of being travel size when every inch of space matters. All in all I would give these a 5 star without question if I didn't need to alter them in order to use them long term. But for less than the cost of a single movie ticket we've gotten hours of fun from our set so money well spent in our opinion and I would buy again if need be.

Our family has had many bingo games in the past. Normally with a large basket with balls. Took up alot of space and balls roll away at times and got lost. This bingo set is compact and no balls. We like it.
