Works great. I like that the temperature probe is not the kind that you have to thread into the engine. I used this for my AC condenser, and that would not have worked. The probe just inserts into the fins of the condenser, though I will probably have to apply a bit of glue or silicone to keep it from dislodging. Adjustability is great. It's difficult to right now though because it's only 79 degrees outside, and my AC doesn't really struggle until the outside temp hits 90-95, but using a thermometer gun, it looks like at the lowest setting, it would kick the fan on when the condenser reached around 90. I'll have to test and adjust that later. I had a problem originally because I tried to connect the yellow wire via a fuse tap. This was giving me negative polarity, so the fan never kicked on. Finally went looking for the radio turn-on wire, and used that. Problem solved. This is what the instructions and video say to do anyway, so I don't know why I thought I'd be smarter and use a fuse tap. I didn't use the override (green wire). My compressor is at the bottom of the engine, and the wires are on the top of the compressor, so it's not easy to reach. I think it'll be better without it anyway since this could mean more on/off cycles on the fan and controller. Also, the temperature probe works well and can be fine tuned, so I expect it will run exactly when needed. While troubleshooting, I called Mishimoto's support line and got a live person right away. I was told to email with pictures all the wiring setup - which makes sense since it's hard to describe it all over the phone and have them make a diagnosis. I ended up figuring it out before I needed to do that, but it's nice to know their support is available right away. Will update if any issues, but so far, I can tell this is going to work great. Separate review on the Mishimoto 16 inch fan coming later.

Purchased the product during summer. Install went super well and it worked as it should for a couple months. Then the fans stopped working entirely. The weather was getting colder and my truck wasn't overheating without them so I let it be for a bit. A couple weeks later my radio wouldn't turn off anymore even with the truck off. After a bit of diagnosing I found that the controller had internally shorted and therefore was powering the accessories power I had it spliced into. Checked the "Lifetime warranty" Mishimoto offers and it's 80$ USD to send the product in for warranty. Since I had already configured all the wiring for this kit I decided to buy another one instead so I didn't have to wait as long and I'd have a new controller. They then decided to send me an open package! Everything in the box had already been opened and was all disorganized along with the controller being scratched and the relay halfway in. Very disappointed in Mishimoto and Amazon. I installed the "new" controller in last night, hoping this one actually works for a while.
