Temple Incense Cone Burner - Jointed Wood

Love it. it may be cheap, but it's nicely put together and has a cracking design. The pin lock is strong enough that the lid won't flap open, and there are plenty of holes for the smoke to emerge, but the best part has to be the little swing open door to the storage compartment under the burner plate. very cool feature. I've been itching to use this and finally got some cones in today so I'm sitting here surrounded by patchouli and vanilla smoke. I like the no mess quality of this, my Jos stick burner is hopeless at containing the ash and mess. this just seems a better way to burn incense, no accidental catching sleeves on burning things. all tucked away inside a solidly constructed little palace for incense cones. I think I'm definitely going to get a couple more of these for round the house. Just good value for money. Someone made this by hand, and it's this cheap and this well-made - bargain!

Things to understand before buying: These are all handmade so all unique. Being handmade the angles are not perfect...which is good... they are not identical units rolling off a production line in other words. I am really glad the two I have aren't identical These are good value for money. Bought a pair...well two. Got one on either end of a mango wood coffee table in the living room. They look fantastic. The smoke snakes out of the holes in the pyramidal lids elegantly and attractively. Love them. One slight issue to be aware of is the hinged lids are heavier than the bases. So you need to hold the base whilst the lid is open or it will tip over. Not a real problem just something to be aware of when placing cones in the dish. If I had somewhere else to put some more of these I'd order more without hesitation. -- edit 13/11/2015 Bought two more of these for bedrooms. Same prompt delivery from Crafty Jungle and same lovely looking burners in the box. So still recommend these wood pyramid burners.

It works fine, but the hole and pin do not line up. Can be tricky to close with a burning cone inside.

Not as well made as portrayed in pictures. Craftsmanship could be better. First time I used this the top of the box looked burnt. On reviewimg the item I can see this isn’t a one off. I’m not the first to experience this. Not safe to use as described unless you want a house fire. For this reason I’m using purely for an ornamental purpose. I value my life too much to even consider using for the reason it was brought for. Dare I say it DON’T buy this as a incense, cone burner it’s not safe.

Really disappointed with this. Bought it as a gift for someone, last minute, and it’s so badly made the lid doesn’t even open. I like the pattern and the wood. It looks nice. But it’s completely useless as the lid is completely jammed shut. No time to return it as it was for someone as a last minute gift. Really let down by the poor quality of this product.

This is a great little incense cone burner. Good quality hand-crafted item with a hinged pyramid lid. Inside is a small metal plate for you to place your cone onto. Light the cone and close the lid. There is also a little compartment in the base of the burned with a little door, for you, I assume, to store a couple of cones in. Once the cone is finished burning the box is vary easy to clean. In the picture I am using a Stamford "Goblin's Lair" incense cone, which, as you can see, is a bit smokey. It came with a few cones. I don't know what fragrances they are but they are nice, although very strong. They irritated my throat a little.
