My Jack Russell is a fussy little chap but he loves this !!

Some people love to give unsolicited advice, even to complete strangers, so I am well aware of the fact there are “better quality” dog foods on the market than this one. I understand from the “experts” I meet on my travels that if I truly loved my dog, I would be feeding her a “better” brand. Or the BARF diet. Or whatever *they* say. Fortunately, I know my 12 year old Bichon, and they don’t. I buy this food because she won’t eat anything else. I have tried. I even bought her the finest cuts of meat one Christmas. She refused that too. She has eaten this food for 12 years. She has puppy-like energy. She is very trim and healthy. And she would starve for days in protest like a cat rather then eat the many “premium” brands I have offered her over the years. I want an happy, healthy dog, who eats. That’s it. She isn’t a food oriented dog, so she doesn’t run to the bowl excitedly when this bag comes out. But she will only eat this. And I like that she eats! The smell of the food isn’t pungent and the small size is perfect for her.

I buy royal canin all the time now, as my little dog is abit tubby and also had gum disease from the soft food that I was giving him. For a dog that was used to freshly home cooked meals, he took to this food and finishes his plate. The size of the biscuit is tiny little crosses and he can chomp on them without spitting them out and spreading them all around the kitchen (like he did with the pedigree chomp biscuits) Delievery is ever so quick and the price is sooo much better than buying locally in Greece.

Our little dog has been eating this particular food for 2 years,he doesn't like any others,I would normally give 5 stars but I've dropped a star because of the price the last time i bought this food on Amazon prime it was £8.99 but this time it was £17.99 that is a huge increase. The product is still good.

Can’t really comment on the flavour as it’s the dog who eats it, but she loves Royal Canin and won’t eat anything else. I recently bought another decent brand of dry food which is considerably cheaper, and mixed it with this one, but she only ate this as I watched her spit the other one out! She eats when she likes and definitely wasn’t eating the other one.. so I thought we’ll just have to stick to what she likes!
