Like magic, but science!
This stuff is amazing! I’d no idea it existed until my son was researching model cells for his year 7 project. Someone had made a cell and said it was made from polymorph. So we tried it. It comes as tiny balls of white plastic. Put them in hot water and they go transparent and you can mould them really easily. If it goes wrong, stick it back in the water and try again. It dries really quickly back to the original hard white consistency. He then coloured in all the parts of his model with sharpie pens and it looked great. We are now wondering what else to make as it was so much fun. Will definitely buy more.

Grandson used it to make face masks.

I love this stuff
Generally I don't review products but for this I have made an exception. This is a great product. I will always have some handy from now on. It is so easy to use and hardens to make a really solid fix. I used it to repair a couple of broken plastic hose and cable retainers on the vacuum cleaner and I am totally impressed.

This is a futuristic material. Innovative and a must have workshop addition.
This is brilliant material. Pour boiling water on a quantity of Polymorph and within seconds it is a mouldable material. It soon cools enough to be handled and can be moulded into a hard shape, which can be drilled or sawn if necessary. Within minutes I made myself a new handle for my favourite saw, and then made a jig for cutting short lengths of dowelling. If necessary a finished product can be reheated in boiling water and made into something else. It can be used to repair things or to make parts that just cannot be replaced by purchasing.

but a useful addition in the craft box
Really impressed with how this stuff works, a bit sticky when you try to mould it and it will stick to other plastic surfaces, but a useful addition in the craft box. When set, the plastic has a slight waxy texture, but can be primed with auto primer and will then take water based modelling paints easily with no shrinking or cracking. Wouldn't suggest its a replacement for Sculpy or other modelling putty as its not going to hold such fine detail, but really good for bulking out an armature and quicker to set, also can be re-melted if you need to make a correction. :)

Easy to use first time
This did the job of repairing pewter tankards (used as a former). A bit difficult to re-melt but that is me being a skinflint. This stuff is really hard at UK room temperature but I can foresee difficulties if used in hot sun. I would recommend this product and will certainly use it again. There is plenty in the pack so no problem there.

Great for custom parts.
Absolutely perfect for hand forming your own plastic parts. Once the plastic has solidified back into it's white state you can use it like normal plastic. I have used this in the past to secure a new gear knob in a car. You can screw straight into it as soon as it is set. This current bag was used to make some custom length body posts for a radio control truck. The truck has rolled over a couple of times and the Polymorph mounts have held up admirably. I have used this in lots of situations including recently installing a new sink. It is easy to drill through at low speed to make mounting brackets strong enough to hang a basin on, no problems!
