Unethical and Illogical for the reason cognitive evaluations are given
So unethical and ineffective to help your child do anything except prep for a test and will defeat the purpose of the assessment. Long term effect= Continuing to foster anxious children.

Unethical
Shameful, unethical, and dangerous. “Prepping” won’t help your child, will yield invalid results, and certainly won’t increase your child’s intelligence. This is only to feed overinflated parent egos. Do better.

You want to cheat your cognitive testing?
If you want to waste your money to get your kid tested, buy this book. If you want to actually learn about your child's strengths and weaknesses stay as far away as possible. If you need to cheat an IQ test, you need therapy so bad.

Absolutely Not
This is actually infuriating. This is not only extremely unethical, but it will certainly not make your child smarter. It will simply yield invalid test results, which does not in any way benefit your child.

FRAUD!
What is the point of "coaching" a child on standardized testing? If they get placed in a higher level curriculum that they cannot achieve, they'll fail. Not to mention this is plagiarism of copyrighted testing.

Unethical and Problematic
The author either doesn't know or doesn't care that IQ tests are not meant to be studied for. This is unethical.

Great practice book!
I got this book to help my child feel more comfortable before taking the WISC-V, and it really made a difference. The practice questions gave us a good idea of what the test format would look like, and my child enjoyed working through the puzzles and exercises. It helped take away a lot of the stress and made test day feel less intimidating. I wouldn’t say the book matches the actual test exactly — some of the questions felt a bit easier — but it was still a great way to build confidence and practice skills like reasoning and processing speed. Overall, I’m glad we used it. It was a helpful tool for preparation, and I’d recommend it to other parents who want their kids to go in feeling ready.
