Holiday Activity Book (Usborne Activities) Pocket Book – 1 May 2012

We enjoyed this book hugely. The format is great for working on it if you can sit down somewhere (rainy / indoors days etc.) and the variety of activities is engaging and fun. We were very pleased with this book and there's still lots to do, as kids naturally tend to choose their preferred activities first and leave those that aren't as "easy" for them but still are presented in an engaging form. There's a similar version which is offered in the form of an activity pad, which might be more suitable for journeys on planes and cars, again, very nicely done and well received & enjoyed by our kids.

This was great for keeping my 10 year old occupied while we were on holiday, on the flight & also while we were back at our hotel room. There are lots of puzzles, word searches and colouring pages which he really enjoyed.

Looks good, purchased for my 7yr old nephew to keep him occupied on a flight and on his summer holiday.

I bought copies of this book for both of my children (aged 6) and they have really enjoyed picking it up, flicking through it and finding activities to do. There's a great mix of activities, quizzes, puzzles, etc and it was useful both while travelling and while on holiday.

Absolutely brilliant, pages upon pages of lovely activities to keep children of all ages happy - mine are 4,5 and 10 and all loved this book from the airport to the villa and back home again.

Brilliant!! Waiting for lunch or trying to have a quiet coffee on holiday need never be stressful again with kids when you have this little book and a packet of crayons handy! Perfect distraction for our son. We bought one for every age group as we have 3 children and they absolutely loved them. They lasted right up until the plane journey home! Highly recommend.

Bought specifically for my quite able 7 year old grandson, to keep him occupied on a holiday flight. The book contains a wide variety of puzzles of different levels of difficulty. I knew that he enjoys puzzles and challenges, so I was pleased to see there was enough here to keep his interest.

Three of our grandchildren are at a really inquisitive stage of their development. These sorts of books are ideal to keep them mentally stimulated when the weather precludes us taking them out. Lots of variety and interest all in one place.
