PUP PALS Dog Nail Grinder

Best thing I ever bought!! I had a old nail grinder that my Lab would not let me trim her nails at all but when I got this with the diamond grinding head she now lets me do her nails. This grinder is quiet & really grinds the nail smoothly. Both my dogs let me do their nails now! This works so well & is fast & easy to use. The battery life is very good.

Works great! Very quiet so dog isn’t afraid. I give her peanut butter on a lick mat, distracts her and I can get her nails shortened very quickly.

I bought this particular model because of the amount of light it was advertising. My girl has dark nails & we've had a couple of bad experiences because or that. I had given up on doing her toenails, but with today's rising prices, I decided that we were going to give it another try. They are as quiet as advertised so don't spook my pup. Throw in a couple of training treats plus lots of praise & the two of us are getting quite good at nail trimming. I took off one star because the light isn't nearly as bright as advertised. It still seems brighter than others I've tried, so that may not be totally deserved, but half stars aren't possible. All things considered, I'd recommend these to anyone who either does their own grooming or wants to stretch the time between professional grooming sessions.

Multifunctional. Gentle!

The nail grinder was made nice and the LED light was a good feature, however, my dog ran from the grinder as soon as I turned it on. She gets very anxious about anything that vibrates i.e., grinders, clippers, etc. I was hoping with all the good reviews it would be quiet enough for her, but no, I had to return them.

I recently adopted another dog and his little nails were so sharp and I have grandchildren. Knew I was going to have to do something about the nails and tried a regular nail clipper which required wrestling with the dog until I finally just gave up. I bought this and at first my pup was fearful but almost immediately calmed down when he realized it wasn't going to be uncomfortable. It barely makes a sound and grinds the nail down quickly. I also used it on my older dog (who I've never been able to clip her toenails) and she had no problem with it either. This is a great product for something that's usually a fight. Great value and stress reliever for you and your dog for the money!

This works well. My cavalier tolerates this much better than clipping her nails. Wish I had thought of this sooner.

I have two poms and one is more scared of nail trimming than the other. One did absolutely fine with it. I did find you have to be careful with it or it will split their nails. The. Second I was able to do her 2 back feet in one sitting which surprised me. I thought I would only get to one. She was scared but I could slowly see tension decreasing because it wasn’t noisy. It was more the situation itself. So, slowly I’ll introduce it. The lowest setting really didn’t do much but the highest setting was much better, the cord makes it easy to use since it is USB. I would recommend this for any scared dog.
