After working in the catering industry for 16 years and trying multiple different brands I decided to give SHAN ZU a try. Hands down I can honestly say it is the best knife I have ever owned. It’s nicely weighted and comes super sharp straight from the box. The Damascus steel provides excellent quality and keeps it easy to maintain. I loved it that much that I went on to buy 3 more knives from them and hope to extend the collection further in the future.

So much to choose but I can say this one is Fantastic, yes it’s very sharp comes in a lovely box. I have never cut with so much Ease, practically every single vegetable Fruit and good handle for a big and Small Hands. Great value for this Brand Well worth the Money.

Knife is extremely sharp as other reviews have said. The knife is a great weight in the hand, balanced and the handle is comfortable. It might not suit someone with small hands though. Only issue I have with the knife is that the damascus pattern isn't as visible as made out from the ad pics, and it also almost looks like a light etching to the blade. It's still a nice knife though.

I got this during black friday week so I paid £59.99 instead of £99.99. I agree with many other reviewers here, a really good quality knife. Lovely presentation box if you give this as a gift, excellent feel in the hand, sharp as a razor and looks great. What's not to like! As the title states, I've bought a few knives and knife sets over the past 50 years, including one set at this price point but none could match this. For example, I just thinly sliced an onion and aubergine, both skin on, and it could have been butter so easily does it cut. Now to look up the best way to keep it sharp 👍

Great knife! I've been a cook for over thirty years and always had a knife service so never felt the need to buy my own, until recent change in work I wanted to get my own as nobody seems to take care of a knife edge where I'm working now. Well the price was very reasonable, the weight feels nice , the handle is very comfortable (my hands are average size), looks and feels great. Cuts very well I have used it in a professional setting for two weeks and still is holding its edge. Will purchase from this seller again. If you are on the fence about buying this knife I suggest looking at some from a restaurant supply company, they are ridiculously expensive and likely the same quality, would highly recommend this company.
